Have 2 quite large doodles that had impulse issues with other dogs and people. One jumped out of the truck window so needed. I am disabled so we needed the issue addressed immediately. Smith Hill Farms did a fantastic job. Both dogs were boarded for training for 3 weeks with Andy the owner. When we got them back they had a much improved impulse control and the communications tools to continue to reenforce what they had been taught. Andy brought them to the house and taught us how to use the tools he had taught them and to setup a routine for daily training. He returned several days later to see how we were all progressing. We were happy to report they are doing much better and continue to improve everyday. I highly recommend them. The staff are great and caring, the facilities are top notch and clean and the training is profession and highly efefctive. They do day care and kenneling as well.

I appreciated Smith Farms for boarding my dog at first. Because he's not neutered, I was told he would be staying in a single which I had no problem with. Since getting him back though, it turns out he has Kennel Cough now. I've boarded my pup with many different boarders before and have never had a problem with him getting sick before this time. Also, I requested them to provide a bath for him at the end but when I picked him up, he didn't smell or look clean. His fur and paws had a yellowish tint to them. The staff seem really nice and personable and I appreciate them taking my dog but I'll most likely not be back considering I paid $200 for him to stay 3 nights which included a bath that he obviously didn't get and he ended up coming home sick.

My little energizer rabbit loves going here. She plays hard and by the time she gets home she's pooped and ready to wind down. The staff are friendly and help keep me at ease while she's out of my care. We looked into other facilities and Smith Farms stuck out for many reasons...one being the dogs have ample amount of outdoor space to run. It was surprising to see that not all facilities have outdoor space. I recommend checking it out, especially if it's your dogs first time going to daycare or being boarded. They eased my concerns and we haven't had any issues.

I cannot thank Andy ENOUGH for the work he did with my very enthusiastic dog, Luke. Luke just graduated today from the 2-week boarding + dog training program out here at Smith Farms Boarding Kennels in Conyers, GA. Once training completed this afternoon, Andy brought him to my house and spent some time teaching me what he taught Luke over the past couple of weeks. Now that I know the right way to train, I see where I went so wrong when trying to wing it myself. Now I know how to maintain these most enjoyable manners! We just went on our first walk, and he was a DREAM. It was our first pleasurable, leashed outing since I adopted him a year and a half ago. I’m beyond thrilled!!!! Having a peaceful relationship with my pup was worth every penny! I also want to add that the facilities are beautiful and very well maintained. They always take excellent care of him days when he goes to doggy daycare or regular overnight boarding. The staff is super friendly, and he always comes home tired and happy. Enjoy these photo of him and my cat during our walk 😊

I cannot recommend Smith Farms and Andy enough. I have a 90lb rescue Shepherd mix. Sweet boy but he came with high energy, over use of a big bark and a lot of fear. We met with Andy for an assessment and decided it was worth saving for the training. Boy were we correct! We have gone from a dog that couldn’t focus outside just from the scent distractions to a boy who can stay walking in a heel and follow commands while our neighbours dog goes nuts across the street. Husband and I are about to welcome a new family member and we loved that Andy also talked to us about handling a dog when you have a baby and behaviour to discourage and encourage. I know a lot of people talk about getting a “new/different “ dog back from training. That always worried me so I am happy to say we got our Goofy puppy back but a much improved version of him who knows when it is time to play/ be silly and when it is time to listen, be calm and good. Our dog enters a room and defaults to the “spots” that have been set up for him. He can stay there and take a nap until you call him over. All of our friends and family that have seen Chopper since his training have commented on how calm and regulated he is now. Thank you soo much Andy!
