Emerald Acres Bernese Mountain Dogs

Emery is a wonderful dog breeder. We adopted our puppy in August 2025. He was extremely well taken care of, socialized well, and comes from a good line. Emery uses BernerGrade to ensure that the parents of the puppies are as healthy as possible and make an ideal couple. We were able to review all of the genetic testing papers for our puppies parents before picking him up. Emery was extremely communicative during the process and always open to answering any questions. He is very knowledgeable of this breed which reassured us. Our puppy just turned one and its been almost a year with him at home. He is a confident, extremely nice, friendly, self-assured dog. He has had no health problems and has been growing and thriving in our home. He is truly such a sweet boy which I attribute to his parents temperament and to his early socialization. If you are considering a bernese mountain dog I would highly suggested going with Emery.

Hazel is 2 today and I am very late in giving a tremendous review of Emery and Emerald Acres. Hazel is my 4th Berner and actually purchased a second Maverick pictured with his siblings from Emery for my Stepson. There is often much negative said about breeders, I will say that from the moment I chose Emery, I have been impressed. He was incredibly professional, but from puppy videos and correspondence you could tell that while a business he truly loves his dogs and their offspring. He gave updates on their progress before pickup and the breeding dogs are loved and are so friendly and adjusted when I had a chance to met them all. They are loved and cared for very well. Follow up after was always amazing and he remembered Hazel’s birthday. He is by far the best of the best. As you can see from the pictures Hazel and Maverick are amazing and has been a dream to train. If buying a Berner chose Emery at Emerald Acres. Hazel and Maverick give him paws up

We welcomed home our first Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from Emery one year ago. She has been the most wonderful addition to our family! She is such a happy and healthy pup and we get so many compliments on her. She loves people and is great with kids and other dogs. We feel so fortunate to have found such an amazing breeder. Emery truly cares about his dogs and puppies. He was wonderful at communicating throughout the whole process and has even checked in several times during her first year. We loved receiving his updates, pictures and videos on the puppies while we waited to welcome ours home. Thank you, Emery, for raising such amazing puppies and giving us a treasured family member.

Emery is everything you want in a breeder. He is super responsive and always willing to answer questions. House is now about a year and a half, and the best dog ever. He is happy and healthy. I get so many compliments on how good looking he is!

We got our pup, Koda, almost 2 years ago from Emerald Acres and could not be happier. She has such a kind and loving temperament, and the breeder willingly provided all the health testing results and pedigrees I requested for the parents before we put down our deposit. The breeder even sends yearly collages of our dog, Koda, and her siblings on their birthday! We are very happy with our happy, healthy, and loving Bernese Mountain Dog from Emerald Acres.
