I have two young dogs that I got from A Second Wind Farm last year. Sandi Shank is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I reached out to her in 2023 after coming across her website. At that time we had two senior American Bulldogs and I was simply browsing the internet. I knew immediately that I wanted a future puppy from Sandi as I was very impressed in how she bred, cared for, raised and her overall immense love for her dogs. When I learned that her dogs live on a farm, I was sold. Once I introduced myself and Sandi and I got to know each other over the phone, we had an instant connection. An American bulldog is not for everyone, and Sandi will ensure that all questions are answered and a mutual agreement will be made that her puppies are going to the absolute best homes. When I got my first puppy in 2024, I flew into St. Louis and drove to her farm, picked up the puppy and flew back to my home in Arizona. The process was easy to accomplish. Three months later when I decided to get a second puppy, I utilized Sandi‘s door to door ground transportation and that puppy arrived with zero problems. I could not be happier with the wonderful new additions to our family. These puppies are the smartest dogs with the best temperaments that I have ever had the pleasure of raising. Sandi has been breeding and raising American Bulldogs for many years. Her love for the dogs and the puppies she raises is unsurpassed. Undoubtedly there will be a day when Sandi will retire so I highly recommend you reach out to her to get your new best friend before that day arrives. You can not go wrong!

After extensively searching rescues and breeders, I settled on Sandi and Second Wind Farm for our new friend and protector. I had the pleasure of spending time at the farm and meeting my boy’s parents and all of Sandi’s pack. I gained a wonderful addition to our family and a good friend and support with Sandi. The temperaments of her dogs cannot be beat, which is so important as they are a large and powerful breed. We wanted a best fiend and protector of our property, a dog who would get along well with our free range chickens, horses, cats and senior Lab. He is all that, and more. He also enjoys hiking and outdoor adventures as much as he loves couch snoozing and snuggles. Not to mention, his loyalty, goofiness, and antics which keep us smiling. He will be 6 this month and is healthy and strong. He is BoomBoom Cannoli. Sandi is a wonderful person who lives on a beautiful farm and has a deeply loving, no nonsense approach to raising her pups and adult dogs. It’s also worth mentioning, you gain an entire Bulldog family. You can choose to build friendships thru her Facebook page with other owners. It’s all so much fun. I wouldn’t look anywhere else for an American Bulldog.

Our experience with Sandi was exceptional!!! She is invested in helping EVERY step of the way from birth of your pup to everyday questions after you pick it up! Sandi is extremely knowledgeable with this breed, here own adult dogs I got to meet are a testament! She was easy to work with and always giving daily updates to the 8 week progression as the pups grew in her care, including many photos & videos. Her Facebook pages has generations of happy owners posting their pups & dogs. She even called our pup by our given name day one! When we picked him up she happily gave us a thorough meeting with practical knowledge as we were to proceed on our own. The welcome on her farm was amazing. Her adult dogs were well trained and enchanting! Sandi is an expert breeder. You can NOT go wrong if you would like to buy an American Bulldog puppy. The puppies (adults) are STUNNING, by the way!!
