Farmside English Bulldogs and Weimaraners

We bought an English bulldog puppy (Piggy) from this breeder when she was about 5–6 months old in Feb of 2023. She was sweet and loving, but from the start she had problems with housetraining and would urinate on fabrics (blankets, pillows, bed, in her crate) not sure if she was only used to peeing on puppy pads/nursery blankets previous to us owning her. Early this year (2026) she developed seizures which she was initially diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy but over the last couple months her seizures could not be controlled with medication and her bodily functions and cognitition quickly declined, at times even unable to walk. After consultation with a neurologist, we were told it could be more than epilepsy — possibly a brain abnormality or tumor. We had to put her down 6/8/26 just before her 4th birthday which would have been in September. We reached out to the breeder after her death and all we got was, “That’s awful, I’m sorry.” We expected some breed-related health issues, but we never expected to lose her so young our family is devastated. I lost my baby, my other dog lost his companion and my kids lost one of their best friends. We can’t say for certain whether this was bad luck or related to breeding practices, but based on our experience we would not be returning customers.

Our experience with Farmside was great and I would 100% pick my next puppy through them. Samantha was always very responsive and kept us updated frequently after we put our deposit down. Our little guy has the cutest personality and we know he was cared for greatly before we took over.

We picked up Chief in January 2023 after our beloved male bulldog passed away. Samantha was amazing to work with and her bullies are gorgeous! Chief is now 10 months old and absolutely amazing! He has the sweetest temperament and personality! Would definitely recommend!

This is my fourth English Bulldog. Our boy Tanker Branch is now 10 months old and has made our lives complete. We picked him up in MO last November and the exchange was very pleasant, informative and you could tell they had been taken well care of. Prior to picking Tank up Samantha shared weekly videos, pictures and updates with us. We will go back to Farmside English Bulldogs for any future purchases and I currently have a 9.5 year old bulldog Tuff so we could be back sooner than I care to think about. I highly recommend this breeder/company!!!
