Once Upon a Yorkie

I’m very happy with my experience with Janeth from Once Upon a Yorkie! 1) I loved the bonding process, meeting the litter when they were newborn pups and having one of the puppies choose me was such a unique experience. 2) I appreciated Janeth’s flexibility each time we scheduled an appointment to visit the puppy who chose me (Toby) and each time we scheduled any other type of appointment. 3) Janeth’s experience has been invaluable!!! This is my first puppy and I had a lot of questions once I brought him home and she has patiently answered my questions and helped me do what’s best for Toby. 4) I love all the other services she provides like grooming and boarding. Toby LOVES Janeth and her family, he gets so excited when we visit when he has an appointment and it makes me feel at ease that he’s in the best hands when I’ve left him there. 5) We love that Toby came from a loving home and he was loved and well taken care of so he’s a healthy, happy dog. We’re grateful for Toby and the whole experience Janeth provided.

Janeth, the owner and breeder of Once Upon A Yorkie, is fabulous. The information and guidance she provided on our pup, Biscotti was top notch. He is a wonderful, fun, loving pup with a great personality. Our family is blessed to have met Janeth and to have one of her grand pups. I highly recommend her for your next pup.

I want to share with you the most incredible experience I have ever had with a breeder in my entire life. Back story: I got taken online by someone claiming to be a legit. They weren’t. I was gun shy. I called a lot of local breeders but honestly didn’t get the best vibes. Then I found AZ Yorkie Mom! There was positive vibes, communication, explanation of all of my questions, a clear and concise contract (that was beautiful by the way), and a sense of belonging. Janeth and I kept in constant contact even before Miley and Kahlua tied. I was able to be a part of the whole pregnancy! I received pictures and videos of Miley as she progressed and got to talk with Janeth all the time. I got to see my beautiful baby come into this world via video as Janeth helped Miley with her birth. 4 beautiful pups! It was incredible! After the birth, I would ask her every day how my baby was and she would pop him up on video real quick for me. On mile marker weeks she took the MOST INCREDIBLE pictures and made collages for the fur parents. I can’t say enough how much of a blessing AZ Yorkie Mom, Janeth and her family have done for me. She even made videos with beautiful songs that made me cry because it touched my heart so deeply. She thought of everything for the babies and the parents. At week 2 I went up to choose my baby (I had already fallen in love with one). Janeth put the pups on my lap and one pup made his way all the way up on my shoulder by himself. I picked him up and looked at his chest and it was him! My Kiki Reign. He chose me! The visits were very special as we became part of the family. It wasn’t just a place to visit your pup each week, it was a home with a family who opened their hearts to you. You have to understand something about AZ Yorkie Mom. This is a family. The whole family is involved in taking care of the pack, the home, the newborns up until they leave their home. The love and attention and affection your fur babies receive before they leave in your arms to go home is unbelievable. They even get fed homemade food! They cook homemade food so your fur baby has the best nutrition possible! Their GRAND-PUPS mean the world to them and you can tell. She only chooses the best of everything for her family and her pack. They train the pups to go potty on pee pads so they are about 85% trained when you take them home. They listen. They have a schedule. Everything! All you have to do is follow the schedule and help them adjust to being in a new environment. The day I took Kiki Reign home was so incredible! We had lunch with the family, we received an amazing go home gift, and we set out on our journey home! Kiki Reign is THE happiest pup and he loves going to visit his grandma and grandpa and the pack! Every visit brings so much joy to my heart. From the very first contact until this very day I couldn’t have asked for a better breeder. She is the absolute best in every way. Oh, and the people who talk crap about her? We all know who you are and should be ashamed for speaking that way. In the end you may feel better hurting people and making them feel bad but remember, the reviews that are truthful are the ones that count. Bad reviews to get at someone only reflect back on yourself in time. Karma does prevail. Fake reviews aren’t cool. The people who have experienced AZYorkie Mom and received a pup from her don’t badmouth because if you have any questions or concerns she remedies them right away. Please don’t hurt people just because you’re unhappy or want revenge. As Yorkie Mom is and always will be the best breeder of Yorkies, the one I refer people to and the friend I will cherish for life. Thank you AZ Yorkie Mom!

After losing my Yorkie “Diva” who was 16 years old this February, I wondered if I would be able to do it again. After waiting 7 months I decided to start the process and started looking for another pet. I thankfully found Janeth (after speaking with and meeting with other breeders). It was obvious right away that Janeth had the most experience and the most knowledge and she cared about the entire adoption process to make sure her puppies 🐶 would be going to the right parents. She was available by phone text and email and it was awesome when I had a question, since it was a long time since I had a puppy! I set up an appointment this past Saturday and fell in love with two of her Morkie puppies, and I also got to meet their parents Terra and Kahlua and many other pups! It didn’t take long for me to know I was in the right place! I decided I wanted both puppies - who are brothers 💙💙! I cannot believe how turn-key the process was. She sent me home with everything I needed for the puppies! Care packages for each puppy and a binder of instructions of every thing I could every need and answers for any question I could ever have! We are still texting about how things are going! I loved the entire experience with Janeth and I love my 2 boys now named Ace & Bogey ⛳️ I highly recommend you contact her, get waitlisted for one of her upcoming litters! I cannot begin to say how thankful I am to have come across Janeth (AZ Yorkiemom). Getting our baby Millie from her was more like joining her family. She’s very welcoming and kind hearted. She has a true passion for what she does and it shows in every aspect Janeth answered all of my questions right away and talking to her has always felt more like I was talking to a friend. She updates you on the regular with pictures and videos. It’s been several weeks since we brought our baby home but she prepares you for everything with a thorough orientation before going home with your new puppy and also makes herself available for any questions or concerns even after you’ve taken them home. I cannot recommend her enough and a huge thank you to Janeth and her family for what they do!
