Great experience, sweet puppy and easy to train! Marci called me to check in and answered many questions. She has made herself available at any point in the future. So happy with the experience and the pup!

Linda and Maci the owners are the most knowledgeable people when it comes to the Newfoundland puppies and dogs. They have the best bloodlines and pedigree in the USA if looking for a healthy, intelligent, dog this is where you need to purchase a puppy. They have a long history of breeding the best puppies.

My husband and I have purchased 2 Newfoundlands - 3 years ago and now 1 week ago- through Lynn Kay Kennels and have been very happy with our dogs. Marci is very thorough in explaining and giving written information on dog care, nutrition and is available for advice after purchase. The dogs are beautiful, well tempered and have minimal drool!

After someone recommended Lynn Kay to me and my husband, we reached out to Marci, who was very responsive leading up to the day we adopted Chewie. When we arrived, Marci gave us a tour. Premises are clean, and the puppies were sectioned off by litter. All the dogs (puppies and adults) looked healthy, happy, and alert. The dogs have room to roam both inside and outside. Marci told us about the history of the kennel and the traits that they breed for, such as non-drooling and non-teary eyes. They have a full genealogy record for every dog. Marci sat us down to go over how to care for and what to expect for at least the next 4 years as our puppy grows. She also gave us a folder with everything discussed, including the vet/vaccination schedule. She was extremely informative— you can tell she cares about the puppies long after they leave the kennel. She has followed up with us since that day. We adopted Chewie on July 13th, and she’s absolutely wonderful. She’s such a sweetheart, and she follows us around the house, always watching what we’re up to. She has been doing well with crate training, and to our bewilderment, she has already started to sleep through the night at 12 weeks old (we still check on her a couple of times between bedtime and wake-up time, just to make sure we’re taking her outside when she needs to go, but if she’s asleep, we don’t wake her). She hasn’t had an accident in about a week. For the record, she drinks water all day, too.

I recently bought a puppy from this family and they have been super helpful throughout the entire process. From the start they were very clear about price, how the purchasing process worked, and information about my puppy’s parents. When I purchased my pup they provided me with tons of tips on how they raise their Newfies including feeding, training, treats, and grooming along with a packet of even more useful information. Finally, whenever I have questions they never fail to respond and from this I can tell they really do care about both their puppies and their homes. I would recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a Newfie. Also, I can confirm that their Newfies are dry-mouthed as a dog can reasonably be. When I went to pick up my pup I was immediately greeted by FOUR Newfies and I left with only two spots on my clothes. This family is also a registered breeder with AKC meaning they pass routine inspections to ensure they are following best practices.

My name is Marci Ward-Kubik, owner of Lynn Kay Kennels, home of the Dry Mouth Newfoundland, located in the beautiful countryside near Davison, Michigan.Lynn Kay Kennels was founded by my mother, Linda Ward, who dedicated more than 45 years to breeding and raising exceptional Newfoundland dogs. Although she is now retired, she still enjoys helping with puppies and breeding decisions whenever I need an extra hand. Today, I proudly continue the kennel she built, carrying on the same values, bloodlines, and commitment to producing healthy, loving Newfoundlands that families have come to know and trust.Newfoundlands have been a part of our family’s life for decades. They aren’t just the dogs we raise—they’re our family. Over the years, we’ve been blessed with countless happy memories, lifelong friendships, and the opportunity to place our puppies with wonderful families across the United States. Our goal has always been to raise healthy, high-quality Newfoundland puppies with outstanding temperaments. We carefully plan each breeding with health, structure, and personality in mind, and we take great pride in every puppy that is born here. From the day they arrive, our puppies are treated like members of our family. They are held, cuddled, talked to, and loved every single day. We spend countless hours socializing them so they are confident, affectionate, and well-adjusted before they ever leave for their new homes. It’s impossible not to fall in love with every litter, and even after all these years, I still look forward to each new generation of puppies. Before going home, every puppy is examined by our licensed veterinarian to ensure they are healthy and ready for pickup or shipping. I want every family to feel confident knowing they’ve welcomed a happy, healthy Lynn Kay Kennels puppy into their home.Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I hope you enjoy meeting our Newfoundland family as much as I’ve enjoyed sharing them with you. At Lynn Kay Kennels, our Newfoundlands come in Black, Brown, Landseer (Black & White), and a variety of Black & White markings. As you explore our website, you’ll see all of these beautiful colors represented by the dogs we’ve proudly owned, as well as many of the puppies we’ve placed with families over the years. While every puppy is unique, our bloodlines are known for producing the qualities we’ve worked hard to preserve for more than 45 years—dry mouths, tight eyes, large blocky heads, and beautiful wrinkled expressions, along with the gentle temperament that makes the Newfoundland such an incredible family companion. One of the questions we’re asked most often is about our Dry Mouth Newfoundlands. Some people will tell you there is no such thing, but that’s usually because they’ve never owned one or seen one in person. We invite you to visit Lynn Kay Kennels and see the difference for yourself. While no Newfoundland is completely drool-free, our dogs produce significantly less drool than a traditional Newfoundland, something our puppy families appreciate every day.Every puppy from Lynn Kay Kennels is backed by a one-year, 100% health guarantee, along with our lifetime heart guarantee, giving you peace of mind as you welcome your new family member home.
