Cheryl is the one and only place to go to if looking for a quality gsp. She is the best breeder I’ve met hands down. I’ve been looking and researching the breed for over 10 years. I struggled to pull the trigger through the years and I would lose my deposit with other breeders. Things just never felt right elsewhere. Cheryl on the other hand won me over instantly and I was all in. This experience was wonderful and didn’t stop with the puppy payment. She is engaged in so much of our new puppies life and really cares about us and our new little guy. I could go on but she deserves 10 gold stars. I’m forever grateful for this wonderful addition to our home.

We have purchased two GSPs from Cheryl since 2015. We don't hunt with them but they are outstanding family dogs and companions (as long as they get in a daily walk/exercise). Cheryl has always been available when we have had questions, etc. She truly cares about each and every one of her pups for the long term.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Cheryl as a breeder and the quality of GSPs she produces. Our female is just over a year old and she has an incredible prey when in the field and then an off switch when at home with our four young kids. She has been the perfect addition to our family. Thank you, Cheryl!

I really can’t say enough about my experience with IHD. I currently have a 12 yr old GSP and had signed up for a pup to be his buddy 12 years ago. For personal/life reasons I held off for 12 years and almost had to wait more just to have the right timing for myself and my current dog. Cheryl was very understanding and non-judgmental of me and my situation throughout. Always a joy to communicate with. Has a depth of knowledge and discerning perspective of the breed, the physical and emotional needs of her dogs, puppies and their perspective human families. While I have no complaints about my experience in getting my first GSP my experience then compared to my experience with IHD was night and day. I just picked up my little girl 48 hours ago and can’t be happier, the level of exposure and socialization, the routine and overall development is apparent. Aside from breeding great dogs Cheryl really thinks of you and really streamlines the process of bringing a new puppy into your home, from tails, claws, chips, feeding and supplements, shots, kennel registration- she really covers it all. If you currently own or are considering bringing a GSP into your family I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend and think everyone should consider a puppy from Cheryl.

I’ve purchased three dogs from Cheryl and they have all been amazing. Cheryl truly cares about what she does and it shows. I will never buy another GSP unless it’s from Cheryl. My last dog I drove 10 hours to pick him up, that’s how amazing she is with her dogs! I can’t say enough good things about Cheryl!
