Paige has been nothing short of incredible to work with. She was so thorough in her application process and clearly takes homing her pups very seriously. She puts in a ton of work in the first 2 months of their lives to help them have a solid foundation for even temperament. She exposes them to all sorts of sounds like recordings of fireworks, power tools, and door bells. These pups are raised in the home with her family and it really makes all the difference. Our girl, Juniper, came home already familiar with going outside to go potty and quickly picked up on waiting by the door to go out. At 10 weeks, she is already avidly playing ball in the backyard! She loves to snuggle and always finds a way to lay on your feet when she is tired. She is so smart and so very sweet. We absolutely adore her. Paige kept us updated and sent lots of pictures so we felt very included in the process. She truly loves each pup she raises and that care shines through in the amazing babies she is producing. I’ve worked with other breeders in the past and this has BY FAR been the best experience I’ve ever had.

Home Base Shepherd is absolutely amazing! Paige and her family do a wonderful job caring for and preparing their puppies for their new homes. From the very beginning, Paige was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and always available to answer questions. She kept us updated every step of the way with Facebook posts, photos, and updates on milestones and first experiences, which made the process even more exciting. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches when we brought our puppy home, including his favorite toy and a blanket with his mom's scent to help make the transition easier. It's clear that Paige truly loves what she does and is dedicated to raising well-socialized, healthy puppies. After unexpectedly losing our 6 year old GSD to cancer, we quickly knew we needed another companion to heal our hearts. After visiting another breeder who just didn’t align with our values, we found Home Base. From the very beginning Paige was amazing. Super informative, kept us up to date on vet appointments, sent pictures, etc. She made the process exciting and stress free. It is easy to see just how much they care about their pups. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a GSD companion. Now that we’ve got our boy Titan home, he’s the perfect addition to our family. We will definitely be returning to Home Base for another pup!

We recently had the pleasure of purchasing two puppies from Home Based Shepherds and we couldn't be happier with our experience!
