We brought him home at 20 months old, and the entire process was smooth and straightforward from start to finish. We know many of their dogs go to new homes as puppies, but that wasn’t the route we were looking for, and this is a great fit for our family. The fact that Ace came to us healthy, well-adjusted, and with such a great temperament at this stage says a lot about how these dogs are raised. John is easy to work with, responsive, and clearly knows what he’s doing. You can tell the dogs are raised with attention and intention—not just handed off. Ace is thriving and settled in quickly with our family, and his temperament made the transition feel easy from day one.

The place where we raise our furry friendsDalton Country Beagles and Labs live on beautiful acreage, about 2 miles out of the local town of McDade, Texas. The ranch is 30 minutes East of Austin, two and a half hours NW of Houston, two hours NE of San Antonio, and three hours south of Dallas. Our kennels are climate controlled and provide an open door when the weather permits for the pups to go in and out as they please. We follow strict cleaning procedures all day, every day to ensure that our pups and their parents are in clean and sanitized living areas.
