After extensive research, I decided to adopt a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Having loved and cared for dogs as family members for over 40 years, I wanted to be absolutely sure before bringing a new one home. After interviewing several breeders, I honestly felt lost. I wanted to see the puppies, meet them in person, and let my children sit on the floor and interact with them. I wasn’t comfortable committing to a dog without really understanding the breeder’s environment and philosophy. After asking around our neighborhood and among breeders, we were incredibly fortunate to find Carlsbad Cavaliers. Before our visit, we were thoroughly vetted — which I truly appreciated. When we arrived, the owner and her family were welcoming, professional, and warm. They answered all of our questions patiently, and there was absolutely no pressure to choose a puppy or make a quick decision. That said… we ended up adopting two! BEST. DECISION. EVER. Our puppies are perfect in every way — healthy, happy, and beautifully socialized. If you’re searching for a trustworthy, ethical, and knowledgeable breeder, Carlsbad Cavaliers will exceed your expectations. It might sound strange to say a breeder changed your life, but it’s absolutely true in our case. We’re so grateful for the wonderful experiences and the two amazing dogs who are now part of our family.

Jamie is an exceptional breeder in my opinion! So knowledgeable about the breed and so loving and caring about her dogs and puppies! And we couldn’t be HAPPIER with our little Hank that we got. Seriously the most loving and wonderful puppy ever! Jamie helped us with so much information that our adjustment to having our new little family member went smoothly! Twenty thumbs up!!! 😃

The owner basically raises the puppies like her own children. The puppies are taken care of so well: and tend to be healthy, in great spirits and well adjusted. Highly recommend her!
