What to ask a Golden Retriever breeder
Ask for both parents' results for OFA Hips, OFA Elbows, Cardiac OFA, Eye CERF, Ichthyosis (ICT-A). Results should be checkable by OFA or registry number, not a verbal assurance.
Breeder licensing in Kentucky
Kentucky has no state breeder license. City or county permits and zoning may still apply.
No state issues a breed-specific breeder license, and a state license never replaces a USDA license or local zoning.
