I cannot recommend Berry Patch Puppies enough. One of the things that really stood out to me is their transparency and integrity. They perform genetic testing on all of the parent dogs and will happily and honestly provide those reports to you without hesitation. That level of openness gave me so much confidence. When I first started looking for a dog a few years ago, I visited them 3–4 times. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. If anything, I felt like I was taking up alot of their time. Even though this is their business, and of course they are selling puppies, it’s very clear that their priority is making sure you are happy with your decision, with your experience, and most importantly, your new furry family member. You will meet Aaron and his beautiful family, and he is truly a kind soul. You will also work with and speak with Colin, Aaron’s associate who is just as wonderful. Colin was also fantastic throughout the entire process, always available, incredibly patient, and beyond helpful with every question I had. Two years ago, I had placed a deposit on a mini Bernedoodle, but shortly after, my job situation changed and I couldn’t move forward. They were incredibly understanding. A friend of mine ended up using my deposit, and now has a beautiful mini Bernedoodle named Biggie Paws, happy, healthy, and absolutely loved. ( picture attached) This year, I was finally in a position to get my own puppy. At the time, they only had Bernedoodles on the larger side, but Aaron mentioned he had a litter of poodle puppies ,which was perfect for me, as I’ve always had poodles. I now have an amazing poodle puppy named Lorenzo, who is almost 7 months old and truly incredible. ( pictures attached) Aaron and Colin, also connected me with one of the trainers he works with, Connie, and I cannot recommend her enough. Lorenzo went directly from Aaron’s farm to her home, where he stayed and trained alongside a few other puppies for 6 weeks. When he came home at almost 5 months old, he was already housebroken, crate trained, sleeping through the night, knew basic commands, and was so well adjusted. For anyone who works or feels overwhelmed by training a young puppy, Connie is an absolute game changer. She treats your dog like her own and becomes an invaluable resource — honestly, she ends up feeling like family. Overall, this has been an exceptional experience from start to finish. They are honest, knowledgeable, and truly care about their puppies and the families they go to. They are absolutely worth the drive, and I can confidently say you will not be disappointed.

We had an absolutely excellent experience with Berry Patch Puppies! Aaron, the breeder, was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does. The facility was spotless and well-maintained, which gave us a lot of confidence in the care the puppies receive. Colin, who handled the online communication and marketing, was fantastic—extremely responsive, thorough, and attentive. He kept us constantly updated with pictures, progress reports, and timely answers to all our questions throughout the entire process. We would 100% recommend Berry Patch Puppies to anyone looking for a Bernese Mountain Dog or a Bernedoodle. Their professionalism, care, and communication exceeded all our expectations!

I am very happy with my experience picking up a mini Bernedoodle puppy from Berry Patch Puppies. From the beginning, I worked with Colin through numerous phone calls and questions about living environment, health, and temperament. Colin did an excellent job communicating with me and addressing all my concerns. He arranged a FaceTime with a local trainer who comes to play with pups to help me choose a dog. When I arrived to Berry Patch, I had the good timing to coincide with a random PA kennel inspection, and got to chat with the inspectors who had arrived before walking in. Both assured me that Colin and Aaron run a reputable breeding service and trust them to live up to standards. Since coming home with my pup, he has adjusted very well to crate, potty training, etc. Additionally, both vet visits have confirmed that he is a healthy, wonderful dog. Thank you to the whole Berry Patch team!

We got our bernedoodle girl Una (now Millie) from Berry Patch Puppies and she is the most precious thing! Aaron was great to work with throughout the process and his team is kind and thorough in their support. We love how diligent Aaron is about the health of his pups and their parents, and we got to meet Millie’s mom during our visit too! It’s obvious how much Aaron and his family love these animals and want to ensure they have good homes. Their indoor facilities are incredibly well kept and temperature controlled, with plenty of land to run ensuring these dogs have everything they could need/want. Millie is a gentle and loving pup, always excited to meet people and practice her training. We can’t wait to watch her grow up! Thank you Berry Patch Puppies for our sweet girl! And if we ever add another pup to our bunch, we hope to work with Aaron again.

We had a great experience with Berry Patch Puppies! Colin and other staff answered all our questions patiently, and met us halfway for pickup, which was helpful. And our pup has the best temperament of any dog I’ve ever had! She was a little older (6 months), but came to us essentially housebroken and comfortable in a crate. As our friends and family tell us, “we hit the jackpot with this one!” Lucky for us, my uncle got her sister (mine is a bit smaller, with a pink tag); they are both beautiful and wonderful dogs! We highly recommend this breeder.
