While the staff was polite and gentle with my dog, I left this clinic feeling very uncomfortable with their high-pressure sales tactics. I brought my dog in for a small lump on their head, and instead of offering a standard, affordable first step like a Fine Needle Aspirate (FNA) to test the cells, I was told I had to get a $500 blood test. A blood test alone cannot even diagnose a lump, yet cheaper alternatives were never mentioned. On top of that, they aggressively pushed one specific flea and tick medication as the 'only' option, without explaining the risks or benefits. I felt like a sales target rather than a client. I appreciate that they were nice to my pet, but their lack of transparency and pushy upselling mean I will be looking for a second opinion elsewhere

We've brought our lab / golden retriever in for dental cleanings and checkups, and Dr. Shani is always thorough, gentle, and great at communicating back in a timely manner. She takes the time to answer our questions and never makes us feel rushed. Willow Glen Pet Hospital's whole team makes dental care feel low-stress for both pets and owners, easy scheduling (Angel at the front desk), clear pricing, and genuine care from check-in to pickup. I feel truly blessed to have discovered Willow Glen Pet Hospital San Jose, where exceptional service and dedication shine through in every interaction. When Hunter needed his annual exam, heartworm test, and CBC, the veterinarian's attention to detail was impressive, and the staff's enthusiasm for meeting an Anatolian Shepherd was endearing. Despite other local clinics being unavailable, Willow Glen Pet Hospital accommodated us promptly, and their responsiveness to my questions has been outstanding. Yesterday, we received the wonderful news that Hunter's heartworm test is negative and his CBC is normal.it's reassuring to have a supportive veterinary team like Willow Glen Pet Hospital. I can't thank them enough for their support.

The staff was extremely professional, patient, and helpful with our dog Sage. They took the time to explain everything that could be done for her and openly talked about pricing and what they felt could be useful now and what could be useful at a later time to avoid crazy fees. Everyone was very kind to our dog as she’s extra anxious and can be a little much to handle at times. Would highly recommend Dr. Williford and her entire staff.
