I had Dr. Milkowski and her team check out my cat and she was great at explaining all my options and answering any questions when it came to my concerns. Yes you have to put down around $80 deposit but if you show up on time then it just gets put towards your bill. Overall this clinic is a good choice that doesn’t price gouge.

By far the best vet in Chicago. We have been taking our dog here since she was a puppy, Dr. Mowry is one of the kindest Vets, and all of the vet techs are as well. Everyone is patient, friendly, and they really assure you your pet is in the best hands. One of the best things I found about them is their responsiveness, we could get our dog seen same day almost any time during business hours and they don’t charge outrageous fees like you would see at an emergency vet. We are moving out of the city and going to miss them terribly, so if you’re in Chicago I would highly recommend!

Apologies to the Dr’s and Techs this review likely doesn’t do justice to. After reading other reviews it sounds like this may be a staffing issue but FWIW a warning to potential clients on level of care by staff. I attempted to bring my dog here because it was close in proximity after he was attacked by a larger dog in Wicker Park. I was visibly in tears, my dog in complete shock, bleeding from his puncture wounds at the neck. As I go to enter I was greeted by a woman who I rapidly explain the situation to but she stops me to say they were closed and there are no vets on site. Understandable — I know I need to pivot somewhere else. I ask for a rec to anywhere else I can take him to which she mentioned a place in south loop and quickly locked the door. Maybe it’s just me but if I were an employee at a vet clinic I would have at the very least offered to wait with the patient and owner in distress while they get their ride? The brief encounter left such a distaste due to the lack of concern by professionals who should exercise the most and I will not recommend anyone leave their pet in the care of people who don’t show basic empathy. I ended up taking my dog to Partners Animal Hospital in West Loop (arriving just minutes before close) and was met with soooo much care and compassion. Everyone there was so calm in my chaos, springing into action. I will continue to take my dog there and recommend them anytime I have the chance!

I cannot recommend this veterinary practice enough. Dr. Mowry cared for my dog Lily from 2013 until her recent passing, and I am forever grateful for the trust, compassion, and dedication she showed us every single visit. She is not only an exceptional veterinarian, but a genuinely kind and caring human being and someone I trusted completely, even when it came to making the hardest final decision. I am not alone in feeling this way about both Dr. Mowry and Wicker park vet. Friends of mine have also brought their dogs to Dr. Mowry and have experienced that same exceptional level of care and compassion. The entire staff deserves recognition as well. Every single person treated both Lily and me with such love and warmth. When we lost Lily, they sent the kindest sympathy card that meant so much to me. It showed just how much they truly care about the animals and families they serve. Thank you, Dr. Mowry and the entire team, for giving Lily such a beautiful life of care!

We had such a wonderful experience at Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic! Dr. Mullin and Myra took incredible care of our dog and truly went above and beyond. Dr. Mullin listened carefully to all of my concerns and took the time to explain everything, helping us feel confident in the plan moving forward. What really stood out was how kind and gentle everyone was. Our dog was actually happy to be there, which says so much! It’s clear that they genuinely care about the animals they treat and the families who love them. We are so grateful for their compassion, professionalism, and dedication. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our pup! 🐾
