This is the only vet I have taken my dog to since I got him at nine weeks. Aside from one mishap with a rude receptionist, service has been fine. Unfortunately, I can no longer do business at West Burleigh due to the rudeness of Dr. Jai. On two separate occasions he has shamed for being the reason my dog has come in. The first instance was for an ear infection. Upon inspection, Dr. Jai said to me "do you clean your ears? Why wouldn't you clean your dog's?" Because I am first time pet owner and unlike you, I didn't pay thousands of dollar to know about every issue a dog has. I also visited today for a rash, in which he asked what I was using. When I told him I bought a spray (which did clear up the dermatitis in other areas, just not one in particular) Dr. Jai(swal) shook is head disapprovingly and had a smirk on his face. It's not professional or even empathetic to treat customers that way, especially when they are already in a state over the wellbeing of their animal. I would rather see a vet with better interpersonal skills. This clinic also doesn’t tell you a diagnosis, but rather examines the pet and tells you what they’ll prescribe. This happened on my last visit with a rash on my dog’s leg and when I took him for a cough. No one thought to tell me he had kennel cough. My doggie daycare had to. I had to look at the medicine that was prescribed for his leg to guess he had an infection. What a weird way to do business.
