Vickery Place Animal Hospital

I used to come here and see Dr. Martin when I lived in Dallas and loved him. I moved away and found a closer vet, but when I found out my dog had a suspicious tumor I came back because I trust this office so much. Dr. Kores helped us through this process from start to finish. She was so thorough, patient, and kind. The entire office truly loves animals and I do not think they over charge for things you don't need. Highly highly recommend!

I bring my ferrets here and Dr. Martin and Dr. Kores are amazing. They listen to your concerns and even when it seems unlikely, they explore all options with your concerns in mind. They are compassionate and helpful and will give you all options available. They don't just give you the most expensive treatment options, but let you know what the best diagnostic options are and all scenarios. Price is always talked about up front as well. You can compare and assess what is going to work best for you. I've had a ferret treated for DIM, even when he was outside of the normal age range of ferrets affected and not all of the symptoms were indicative of it so it didn't seem that was the likely cause, Dr. Martin listened and we started the treatment for it and my ferret made a 100% improvement. I'm also currently dealing with a ferret diagnosed with insulinoma and Dr. Kores has been very supportive and helpful. I've also unfortunately had to put a ferret to sleep at Vickery and the doctors and staff were amazing. They even light a little rainbow lamp at the desk so other patients are aware.

The vets and staff are GREAT people. They work in tandem with an organization I belong to, DFW Pug Rescue. They are always friendly and helpful when I bring in a Pug for a checkup or evaluation.

Took my fat boy cat in there, he's supposed to have surgery soon so far it's great been very kind and helpful can I have surgery I'll let you know how it goes

They were professional, knowledgeable, answered questions. They were concerned and considerate of our needs as well. Gave us all the knowledge and tools to care for our animal on our own, after they did a fantastic job themselves. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. These people, we need them and they are good.
