Veterinary Emergency Group

We are part of the local pet industry and recently had an emergency situation involving one of the pets in our care. We turned to VEG ER for Pets in Cranberry and could not have been more grateful for the experience. From the moment we arrived, the team provided prompt, compassionate, and dedicated care. Their communication and customer service were exceptional, and they made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. It was clear that the entire team genuinely cared about both the pet and the people involved. When you are responsible for someone's beloved pet, having an emergency veterinary team you can trust is incredibly important. We are so thankful for the care we received and would highly recommend VEG ER for Pets to anyone needing emergency veterinary care. Five stars all around!

VEG took phenomenal care of our dog. He was diagnosed with cancer earlier in the week at VEG, and within days he had to leave us. The team at VEG made him comfortable every step of the way and supported us throughout the process. I cannot say enough about how empathetic, kind, and caring this team truly is. I highly recommend them. They explained everything to us, our options, and what quality of life and his timeline looked like at diagnosis. At his passing, they assured us we were making the best decision for him. They cared for him and our family throughout the entire process. We are so grateful to VEG.

Visited x2. Very compassionate and was sent out the first time to the hospital but they were not as good. Overall the staff are so caring and busy place. Sad we had to say goodbye to our 13 year old catahoula. One of the staff provided the 02 so well. Very caring place considering it's an emergency care clinic.

I was very impressed with my overall experience. I had never been to a veterinary emergency facility before, and I was very worried and scared. From being able to talk to a doctor on the phone to being triaged for vitals right when I walked in, to the amenities in the waiting room (including umbrellas for people when it started raining!), to the doctor coming out multiple times to talk to me during my visit, I felt like I was being taken care of and that my pet was in wonderful hands. At one point the doctor came out to share that there was a wait but that she was getting through patients and would see us soon. It was very calming and the couple next to me said she was a great doctor and they were glad she was working. Would come back here for any vet emergency and recommend to others.

Heartbreakingly, we lost our 11 year old cat Jazz suddenly last night at home. She had not been sick and had a perfectly normal day including eating dinner, but experienced either a stroke or heart attack around 8pm. We live in Lakeview and our vet was closed so we drove her to Veterinary Emergency Group and called while we were on the way to be sure. We spoke with Jeanette who was so caring and were greeted at the door when we got there. Despite having a full house, their team was ready to help our poor Jazz but she was already gone. They gave us time to be with her and were just so kind and compassionate - it made a heartbreaking experience so much better.
