For twenty-plus years, my cats and I have come to VCA. Always professional, kind, and willing to work with my budget. The care is outstanding - first Dr. Cory, and later with Dr. Sherril. She's been there through the most difficult, and the last moments of my cats' lives. Recommend without hesitation for optimal care, kindness, & respect.

We have taken our dogs to VCA for quite a while now. And they have always been amazing there. My personal favorite vet is Dr. Mix. In my opinion, she is top notch. Staff is amazing as well. Everyone is very helpful.

I had subpar experiences with regular checkups due to miscommunications and snarky treatment, which should have been my sign to find other providers. However, when it came to scheduling surgeries for my two dogs, I was given incorrect information regarding what needed to happen before the surgery and was misquoted on two separate occasions for the cost of the surgeries and pretreatment. In the end, I ended up being charged a third amount for the pretreatment tests that was different from what was quoted to me both during the in person conversation and the pre-scheduling phone call with no explanation for the difference. Leading up to the surgeries, I received no information about how to prepare for the procedures, but a couple hours before the surgery, received a text that said sorry we forgot to tell you that your dog should not eat before the procedure. After taking off work and driving 30 minutes to the vet clinic at my scheduled time, I was told that my surgeon and regular vet was not present, but I could have a relief vet conduct the surgeries. I asked for a résumé for the relief vet since neither of these were minor procedures and was told quite rudely that they couldn't give information on his credentials, but that the relief vet could give me a call later in the day. The surgeries were scheduled to begin in less than an hour.

Dr. Halsey and his vet assistant are the best! I have taken my 2 year old golden there since he was a puppy and they have always listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and treated my pup the best! Thank you, we will miss you as we move out of Nebraska.

Caution: extremely high prices They charged between $500-900/per hour (depending which part of the process you refer to on the billing statement). This is a free market and we vote with our feet. Don’t be like me. Call 3-4 vets before booking any appointment and get prices upfront.
