This review could never clearly communicate how supported and cared for we feel every time we see our veterinary team. With all three of our dogs, they’ve taken us through the exciting (and sometimes hard) puppy moments, the regular appointments, the cancer treatments, the random calls/drop bys to ask the odd/helicopter parent questions.. and in years to come, I know I’ll be able to trust them through the senior moments too. No matter the reason, or which dog we bring in, they always ask about our others by name and have provided the most sound advice and care with such tenderness. I really couldn’t recommend them enough. Our family will forever be grateful to have found such great care in this team. Sending love from Tucker, Finnegan, and Hazel ♥️

I have been going to Uptown Vet since I moved here about 8 years ago. Today, they make sure both my dog and senior kitty are getting the best care so they are happy and healthy. They are always up front with their pricing and recommendations. They also in the past helped me take care of my senior lab by making sure he had the best life possible and managed his pain. A special shout out to Dr. Johnston, Laura and Nicole who helped me today as well as Dr. Larson who’s helped me in the past.

Uptown Vet is the best! Over the years they’ve really gotten to know my kitties. I always feel like I get enough time, and all of my questions are answered. They also have a calming cat room, which really helps! I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. I don’t have a pic of the business, but parking is very easy. Usually I get street parking, otherwise the garage is convenient and they will validate your parking.

I am new to the Charlotte area, and a former practicing veterinary technician, so I was feeling picky about where I take my cats. My first experience at Uptown Vet went perfectly, i’m very glad I chose this location. The staff were very welcoming and attentive from the moment we came in. My cat was at ease throughout the entire check in and examination (she can sometimes be feisty). Dr. Becker’s exam was very thorough and I felt I was able to get a clear picture of where my cat’s current health status and needs are at. I didn’t get the name of the staff member who helped with the exam, but I appreciated the gentle care my cat was shown.

From the Dr's to the rest of the staff, this place is AMAZING! They take the time to listen, to diagnose & really care about you & especially the furbabies. And they do exotics! Snakes, bunnies, pretty much anything except birds.
