Union Veterinary Clinic

I have been going to Union Vet with my cats over many years. I like the fact that the practice is local, but more importantly, the staff has always been super helpful and kind. Dr. Yim is my expert of choice and I appreciate all that he has done to explain the situation with my cats, its possibilities and limitations, as well as his kindness and compassion in answering questions and offering alternatives. Thanks to all who have helped my pets and me over the years!

I have mixed feelings about this clinic. I’ve been here about four times over the past couple of years, and my dog has been seen by three different vets. If you need to visit this clinic, I would recommend Dr. Sydney Slottje. She was knowledgeable, kind, and empathetic both to my dog’s situation and to my budget concerns. Unfortunately, my experiences with the two male vets I saw were disappointing. In both cases, I was left with the impression that there was more focus on costly procedures and financial gain than on genuinely listening to my concerns or discussing reasonable options for my dog’s care. My experience with Dr. Yim was especially negative. During the consultation, I found him rude, arrogant, dismissive, and at times aggressive in the way he spoke to me, repeatedly interrupting me before I could finish explaining my concerns. What was especially disappointing was that his demeanor noticeably changed after I agreed to move forward with the procedure he recommended, which cost over $1,000. The interaction became more cordial only after I agreed to proceed. Because I was under significant time constraints regarding my dog’s care, I felt I had no real choice but to move forward at the time. It was a very uncomfortable experience overall, and based on my interactions with both male vets, I will not be returning to this clinic.

In a world becoming increasingly impersonal, Union Vet is a breath of fresh air. The doctors and clinicians always go above and beyond to make our dog comfortable and happy. He is always in the best of care at Union Vet! The personal touch is noticed and extremely appreciate!

We love the care both of our dogs get at Union Vet Clinic! We started taking our older dog there when we moved to the neighborhood, and a few months ago we also brought in our newly rescued puppy. Our puppy has had a few bumps and lumps pop up, and each time we've been able to get a same-day appointment to have him checked out. The staff treats him like a little celebrity, and everyone is incredibly kind. It's comforting to know our two pups are in the care of people that genuinely prioritizes their well-being.

Great vets and excellent care. The doctors are very patient, knowledgeable, and are wonderful with the pets. The staff is also amazing. I have been using Union Veterinary Clinic for more than 10 years and would not trust my animals care (5 cats) with anyone else.
