UNI Pet Clinic - San Jose

Great customer service and extremely reasonable pricing! I found them online and reached out by email. They responded quickly, explained the process clearly, and made everything super easy. I booked consultations for my three pugs, which were only $49 each -- definitely more affordable compared to other places. Originally, we went in for dental cleanings, but during the visit they discovered two of my dogs had ear infections. They cleaned their ears and provided medication as well. Overall, it came out to around $200 per dog, which I still felt was very reasonable considering everything included. We also updated their rabies shots, and while they did offer other vaccines/services (which is expected since it's a business), they were never pushy about it. The doctor was very honest and straightforward. He let us know that only one of my pugs actually needed a dental cleaning since he never lets us brush his teeth, while the other two had healthy teeth and wouldn't need cleanings anytime soon. I really appreciated the honesty instead of trying to upsell unnecessary procedures. I would highly recommend this place to any dog owner looking for good care at fair prices!

Avoid!! Incompetent doctor and they care about adding bunch of unnecessary tests $$$ without even understanding the situation or symptoms. Place is small with bunch of dogs around of course most cats would start panting. They didn't let us in the exam room either. Came out in 5 min to tell me that my cat may have heart issues and need $800 worth of tests 😂 That's the moment I understood the game. Panic owners and empty pockets. I switched my vet on the following day. Couldn't be more happier. All tests came out negative. Got a good treatment there and cat is doing well now.

Uni Pet Clinic has been my pup's go-to vet the majority of hia life. As he approaches his senior years and the appointments increase, we become more wary of the care he receives. I can say definitively that we have never been let down by our care -- at either the Union City or San Jose location! I always know my beloved pet is getting the best care at Uni. The prices are competitive, appointments are easy to schedule, and the doctors do a great job at explaining updates on my dog upon leaving! Photos that I've received from them that gave me the best peace of mind while waiting on a health update on my dog attached below! Special shout out to Fatima who always makes sure my dog, Memes, gets the extra TLC he needs!! Thank you, Uni Pet Clinic team!

I've been here since my first experience where I called in and got a weird response. They've taken good care of my dog Arya for vaccines and also dealing with a leg injury. The one reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they try to slide things onto your quote that you need to actively decline. For example, I'll tell the doctor that I agree to X blood test and Y meds, and then the vet tech comes back with like 6 things on my estimate that we discussed but I already declined OR that we never talked about. To be fair, only one very specific vet tech has been doing this when I go. So it may be isolated. Doctors are great, front desk is great, watch your estimate.

Thank you to Noemi and Fatima for always taking care of my basil and taco! It's always nice coming in to see friendly faces.
