I've had dogs my entire life, and I can honestly say this is the best veterinary clinic I've ever been to. Dr. Pal and team truly treat every pet like family. You can tell how much they genuinely care, and that compassion shows in every interaction. The entire staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. I've never had a bad experience here. They always take the time to answer my questions, make my dogs feel comfortable, and provide exceptional care. I actually moved out of the city, but I still make the drive because I don't trust anyone else with my dogs. That's how much confidence I have in Dr. Pal and the team. One of my dogs is 18½ years old and is still thriving, and I truly believe that's due in large part to the outstanding care she's received at this clinic. They have been there for us through every stage of her journey, and I'm so grateful for their expertise, kindness, and dedication. If you're looking for a veterinarian who will care for your pets as if they were their own, I can't recommend Dr. Pal and the entire team highly enough!

After 19 years in city and several different veterinarians, South Park Animal Hospital is in a class far above the rest. My precious little 11-year-old Chihuahua,needed urgent care, and they had us in within an hour of my call. From the moment we arrived, I felt like they genuinely cared. The hospital was spotless, we had our own room, and they even welcomed Skilla by name on the board. Dr. Mindy Liou and her assistant were outstanding. I mean impressively outstanding. They were compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, and communicated every step of the visit. Before anything was done, they explained my options from a laptop, listed line by line. giving me options with recommendations reviewed every cost,never made me feel pressured. Their pricing was extremely fair, especially considering the amount of time they spent with us. The biggest compliment I can give is that I trusted Dr. Liou almost immediately. She spent nearly two hours with us, diagnosed the problem, performed the necessary procedure, prescribed medication, and even saved my little lady from having to be sedated by handling her so gently and knowledgeable. After my recent experiences elsewhere, I honestly can’t recommend South Park Animal Hospital enough. Thank you, Dr. Mindy Liou, and your incredible staff. South Park Animal Hospital has been an incredible blessing to Daisy and our family. Dr. Pal is exceptional. Her kindness, calm demeanor, expertise, and genuine compassion set the tone for the entire practice. Dr. Zarina is equally wonderful, attentive, thoughtful, present and never dismisses your concerns or make you feel rushed. The staff is outstanding. Caitlin & Ariel, in particular, have a remarkable way of making both pets and owners feel comfortable and supported. South Park Animal Hospital was able to give my soulmate dog, Squishy, a long and happy life. At SPAH, Squishy had a major surgery (limb amputation), a couple digestion issues, and a skin cancer that were all treated over the years (I'm sure I'm missing something else... we were there a lot, haha). Squishy did not like going to other vets in the past, but I never got that feeling at SPAH. The thing I appreciate most about SPAH is the staff. Sure, the facilities were new, spacious, and clean; they gave good medical advice and performed smooth surgeries. But the thing that I appreciated the most over the years was the staff really loved Squishy and I felt compassion when I visited. Thank you to all the staff that were a part of Squishy's care. I really felt like Squishy had a great team looking after her.

I recently moved to San Francisco with my cat. I brought her in for an initial visit and to go over some things we had been monitoring with our previous vet. The staff at South Park are extremely friendly and helpful, and I feel they demonstrated a great deal of care for my cat's health and my comfort and understanding of her situation. Dr. Susman and our assistant (I believe her name was Caitlyn but that may be wrong) both spent much more time than I am used to taking a detailed history and asking follow-up questions. I appreciated how much time they took to fully understand everything and make recommendations on what to do next. I also appreciated that they had clearly spent time reading the records from the previous vet, as they referred to previous exam notes from a year or two ago multiple times throughout the exam. I also felt they were honest with me about what services were actually necessary. They very easily could have told me I needed to do a bunch of things that weren't necessary but instead they told me which few they thought needed to be done now and which could wait or were unnecessary. High quality veterinary care is always expensive, and South Park is not cheap, but I think it's well worth it to know that my pet has excellent care.
