Honestly sad to write this, I gave this place 5 stars years ago and they were great to my dogs. My 15 year old pitbull is nearing end of life and has been on a thyroid medicine for 7 years with no issue today I called to refill the medicine and they refused and said he needs blood work and a exam which would be acouple hundred dollars instead of the 25 bucks his medicine cost( this dog has maybe till the end of this year left in him). So after 7 years of filling his prescription they now decide they will no longer help him unless then can squeeze the last bit of money out of me before he goes. There are two types of vets, ones that get into the business to help animals and ones who just want profit and sadly this place just wants the profits

I've been taking my dog Pluto to Dr. Robert Swerczek since he was a puppy. Pluto was dealt a rough hand in life -- he's a cancer survivor and he's epileptic, but he's still happy and healthy, thanks to South Omaha Animal Hospital providing the care he needs at an affordable price. Thank you!

The staff members are very friendly, helpful and compassionate. We have been using them for over 30 years. The prices are reasonable, I highly recommend them. The vets are truly interested in the pets well being.

The best in the city. Genuinely compassionate staff,who Genuinely care about you and your pets. Fair pricing. Will not go anywhere else.

Ya never go here, my cats deathly ill, I called to schedule an appointment, they asked me questions for ten minutes and then proceeded to tell me we can’t help you. We’re not taking new clients on. Why waste my time and ask me questions about my sick animal? My animals are my family and they could care less about that.
