South End Veterinary Clinic

This is an Absolutely top-tier Veterinary Clinic. We have been with Dr. Upton at South End Vet Clinic for a few years now, and they have continued to give our cats the best care of any provider we've ever visited. Great communication, patience to answer any and all of our questions. They have a truly knowledgeable and caring staff who are patient and loving to a degree that is... just impossible to find in healthcare and the service industry. You can tell they care about their work, the animals they help, and the owners who they work with. Can't recommend this team and office enough - I trust them with the health of some of our most important family members. Thanks, team 🫶

Next to playing fetch going to see everyone at South End Vet is our dog’s favorite thing. Everyone there loves our golden and has taken impeccable care of him for the past six years. We trust Dr Maples to always have our furriest family member’s best interest in mind and love that they see us every six months to stay on top of things. The front desk staff are kind and efficient the new office is lovely with easy parking and I never have an issue making an appointment. If you are looking for veterinary care look no further this is the best place to have your animal family members cared for.

Dr. Upton and the staff at South End Vet Clinic were absolutely amazing. He took the time to really explain what was going on with my pup, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt informed and comfortable every step of the way. What truly stood out was the thoughtful, detailed treatment plan he put together. It was clear his focus was on my dog’s health and well-being, not just on money. I felt heard, respected, and confident in the care Riley received. I’m so grateful to have found such a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian. Highly recommend Dr. Upton and South End Vet Clinic!!

I recently moved from Chicago to Charlotte and wanted to find a vet that I could feel 100% confident with when it came to my dog’s needs — I am beyond grateful that I found South End Vet! Every vet and specialist I’ve met here has shown not only deep knowledge of veterinary medicine (including emerging studies and treatments) but also a genuine care for every patient as if they were their own pet. Dr. Cole Upton vaccinated and examined my dog today, and he is phenomenal to say the least! He really went above and beyond when it came to making personalized recommendations for my pet’s care (backing each one with scientific evidence, which I really appreciated!). He also has such a warm and welcoming presence which both my dog Winslow and I appreciated. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Cole Upton and South End Vet enough!

This is the best veterinarian clinic that I've ever been to. I've moved a lot and the transition has been a bit of a pain most of the time. These gals made the transition seamless. They were super compassionate when it came to handling my geriatric cat and discussing palliative care for him. When my dog had an allergic reaction they were calm and extremely competent with handling the situation. Their communication skills are also completely unmatched. They communicate wonderfully by email, phone, and in person. Honestly, I'm so grateful I found them.
