Silver Bluff Animal Clinic

Love Dr. Shana! So happy she chose Miami & Petsmart close to my home as her new clinic spot. Caring & professional staff, extremely reasonable prices for the quality pet of healthcare given. Dr. Shana takes her time to explain services needed & shows a high level of care for your pet. I recently had a scare with my Poodle pup & Dr. Shana was swift in getting me in & finding solution to my pups problems. 5 STAR Vet in my book. Thank you Dr. Shana!

This clinic is horrible. I took my dog in because she was pooping and vomiting excessively, and they had told us that it was nothing, just an upset stomach, and they prescribed medication to take back home with us, and that she would be fine. Our first mistake was believing that was true. the next day comes and our dog got a lot worse she threw up once again and started whining due to the pain she was enduring. We take her back into the vet keeping her there for over four hours and getting charged a bill of $1000 and there was never any improvement. They even told us at one point that we could take her to an emergency room and literally two minutes After leaving the vet, our dog collapsed and stopped breathing So we took her back in and they tried to charge us for admission when we were there literally just two minutes ago, so imagine the bill from before and then they wanted to charge us for re-admission. RIDICULOUS. We kept her there for another few hours and they were never able to tell us What she actually had, and she only seemed to decline with her time in there the doctor Also does not know how to talk to his patient whatsoever he repeatedly just told us over and over again that if we left And attempted to take our dog to an emergency hospital, she would die. Of course we want the raw truth But there are ways to go about how to say such sensitive comments. The doctor was also super rude and dismissive, and he almost brushed off the worries and the doubts that we had. Our dog unfortunately, passed away on the ride to the emergency hospital. If you are having an emergency with your dog and they need immediate attention DONT bring them here. They were dismissive when we first went in and actually had the chance to avoid her death by telling us it was just an “upset stomach” and that she would be okay. Please do not bring your pets here. UPDATE AFTER REPLY: The only reason you guys didn’t charge us a readmission fee is because we confronted reception about it and made you guys drop it. The clinic was FULLY Intending to charge us the readmission fee had we not spoken up about it. Regarding the oxygen tank that the owner gave us, it wasn’t even halfway full. It was already about to die (on the red marking by the way) and didn’t last a 25 minute car ride. The owner also proceeded to tell us the oxygen tank was “on the house” as if he was doing us a favor for giving us an empty tank of oxygen. I’ve read through some of the bad reviews and your replies as well and it’s astonishing how you can’t take any accountability and you try to flip it and blame the patient’s owners. You guys are extremely unprofessional and my dog left this clinic worse than when she got admitted. Like you said eight hours spent on her yet no improvement. Absolutely ridiculous.

We would like to thank Dr. Sanchez, Dr. Caos, and Dr. Vega and the staff at Silver Bluff for the care they provided to our beloved Tarzan. Dr. Vega was extremely compassionate and caring at the end of his life. She was thorough in walking us through such a difficult decision. We are appreciative to all! Thank you for the care you have provided to all our pets for over 20 years!

We had to make the hardest decision of our lives and say goodbye to our beloved dog Tyson, and Silver Bluff Animal Clinic was incredibly compassionate through every step. The staff was kind, patient, and respectful, giving us the time and space we needed to say goodbye. They treated Tyson with so much dignity and love, which meant everything to us in such a painful moment. We will always be grateful for the warmth and care they showed our family. Thank you for making such a heartbreaking moment a little more peaceful.

This is how he handles himself...unprofessional at best! August 23, 2025 Ted S. You should be ashamed of writing this review like this. You think that you are empowered by writing this in a public forum, but it is not going to get you anywhere. We are a reputable clinic with a reputable staff which care about animals and we care about our work we take a lot of pride in it But things go wrong and it's not always our fault you admitted that the other dog was playing and sutures break they're not indestructible. We had this discussion you left Happy. The wound was sutured closed in an appropriate manner that you feel that you were mistreated. We would've been happy to help if you would've come in with a nice attitude and we would've done our best to make sure the situation was dealt with. Instead, you and your mother felt That you should scream and you feel that if you scream the loudest it will get heard. Unfortunately, you ended up spending more money at another place which did nothing more than what we did initially. I wish you could see life a little bit with a happier lens instead of a bitter lens, thinking everyone is out to get you. Buddha is a very nice dog and I wish him the best. This is my response....the wound was never closed and i have the pictures to prove it. you sent the animal home with a gaping open wound, no collar and no antibiotics. lets just wait for the lawsuit to settle and see what objective observers think. it is you who needs to be ashamed...you are butchers not vets! Defensive denial is their go to!
