just long waits, but the people behind me have to wait too.. just like a human going to the ER. No complaints here and I've been bringing her here all her life
Unfortunately last year I had to put down my 20 year old cat.. and recently had the joy of taking our 5month old Pit/terrier for a skin problem. Was able to diagnose within 30 mins. Fair price compared to most. He just had his 2nd medicaided bath yesterday and is doing great! Thankfully he is a pro at taking meds. Haha
Read on GoogleIm writing this now because I drove past and felt compelled to. A few years ago when I didnt have much money, I brought a puppy in to have him checked out. Turned out he had parvo. I asked the clinic what we could do and they looked at me like I was stupid and told me they could put him to sleep with a blank look. This was a pretty big little pup. I told them he was a puppy and has a lot of life, what are my other options. They said there are none. And that putting him to sleep rite then would be the most humane thing to do. I couldn't accept that. I went to a hospital in frankfort who told me his chances were low but they would try. The puppy survived and is a big dog now living a happy life with no health complications. Shively animal hospital saw a young man with little money and refused to help. It shouldn't be about the money, it should be about the animal. I believe over the years this clinic has gotten numb to euthanizing animals and if it doesnt bring good money their motto is to put to sleep. I will never go here for my fur babies again. I trusted them and another clinic did what they said couldn't be done for less than a standard vet visit at shively.
Read on GoogleNo heart, no care in the world. Will not ever bring my animals here. Would highly not recommend coming here if you want someone who cares. To the lady who answers the phone, maybe you should take a customer service class because your attitude, your demeanor, and just pure rude and hateful. To the vets- carless and heartless, and absolutely no communication. All about the money that's all they care about. Never will I spend another penny at this location. Just worst couple experiences I've ever had. The vets don't even talk to you, it's wild. If I'm spending money I want to hear from the vet themselfs not the assistant. Like don't you think you make enough money to at least give just a little care and respect to the people who keep your job afloat? I hope this place closes down or a new group of people would take over. People care so much about their fur babies, and want that in return, especially when that's your job title. Do better. Be better. CARE MORE!
