i am not surprised to see this ridiculous abusive response to my review- every word i said is totally accurate.. there was a young man at the desk and two young ladies- you wanted to charge me over $1000 for a spay - unreal - and jacked up the basic visit - i had to cut things off it - now you say there was no young man at the desk and that i was never there- amazing- you continue to be as bad as you were when i was there.. you looked down on me and were rude and condescending - your rudeness now is only compounded by denying my experience and even my existence as a client- you are the worst.. you even vaccinated my cat and did a snap test and treated her- you -are liars and the worst people in this business in addition to being gougers- how dare you. yoi are damn right i judged you after being treated like crap there
We’ve been bringing our pup here since 2020 when Dr. Jones was the vet, and we continue to be so grateful for the incredible care this practice provides. Dr. Hinchey is remarkably kind and always makes sure our pet feels completely safe and at ease. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and has made quick, decisive calls right when we needed them most. Stephanie has also been a absolute lifesaver: she’s super helpful with answering all of our questions and consistently takes time out of her day to check in on our pup after our visits. On top of that, the entire front desk staff is always warm, welcoming, and very friendly from the moment you walk through the door. We couldn't ask for a better team to trust with our pet's care!
Read on GoogleI was having a very nice experience bringing a kitty here at first (wonderful receptionist, vet & vet tech were kind), until the vet shared outdated & incorrect information regarding a FIV + cat (stating they can spread it to another cat through grooming, which isn't true). I don't feel comfortable bringing my cats here after that experience, unfortunately, as I want only correct & up to date information & advice from my vet med. *I appreciate the response & clarification, as I did have concerns with this cat in the home being aggressive towards my FIV+ cat, however the vet did state that it could be spread through grooming. It seems to me she probably misspoke, but it made me feel much less confident going forward with this doctor. I believe we must be quite careful about misinformation regarding FIV cats as they are already stigmatized & historically euthanized. Thank you!

Two weeks ago on a Sunday morning I went to the vet just out of what I thought was an abundance of precaution and left without my dog. He was a big 14 year old german shepherd and his time had come but it was unexpected and extremely sad. I am so grateful Yelp brought me to that Santa Monica Vet group that Sunday morning without appointment, that I was seen immediately, and that my pupper was given meds and eventually euthanasia to keep him comfortable the whole time. This team really went above and beyond after he passed. I wasn't expecting anything but his ashes back. When I brought him home I found a paw print, something I wish I had gotten, a handwritten letter from the entire staff, and a really nice urn. I really couldn't even get my words out when I went to pick his ashes up so I'm writing this review as a thank you to Dr Hinchey and staff, and the receptionist for giving my baby a peaceful passing. I know this is very hard work to do every day and I'm very grateful.
