I am extremely disappointed with San Francisco Pet Hospital’s handling of the international health certificate for our dog. We provided every document requested and followed all of the clinic’s instructions, trusting their experience with international pet travel. Only after the paperwork had been completed and paid for were we told that a requirement had been missed, making the certificate unusable and preventing us from traveling as planned. Because of this error, we had to cancel our trip, lose approved vacation time, pay airline change fees, and lose money on prepaid hotels, tours, and other reservations. The financial loss was significant, but losing a long-planned vacation was even worse. The clinic acknowledged that it had made a mistake, yet refused to refund the failed certificate process or prepare a replacement certificate at no cost. We paid substantial fees because we trusted their professional guidance, but received an unusable document and no meaningful resolution. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend San Francisco Pet Hospital for international pet travel documentation.
Read on GoogleA few years back I had to take Lucia, the little Chihuahua mix to Sunset Vet. She had jumped out of the window of the people who owned her and had me as her dog walker. I brought Lucia into their office and the doctor took Lucia in his arms knowing she needed emergency help. It was quite obvious as you can imagine. It was something I'll never forget! And there was good news to follow ... Lucia just had some injuries that were not life threatening. She was a little tough elderly dog and I'll always think of SF Pet Hospital as being a savior for both Lucia and me as I was completely distressed. Some vet. offices would not have been so compassionate and receive a dog that clearly needed attending to immediately.
Going to San Francisco San Francisco Vet Hospital is a reare experience. Rachel at the front desk always greet's me in person and on the phone with joy ,warmth and knowledge. My dog and I go in and come out feeling well served by her, the clinitians and vet.
Read on GoogleI had a wonderful experience with this pet hospital. The entire team was incredibly kind, professional, and efficient throughout the process. They were always responsive, answered all of my questions, and made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. I truly appreciate their support and exceptional care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate veterinary team!
