I was so stressed out over my little gremling, he is difficult and we have had bad experiences, I called vca urgent care about 4 times and every single time Krystal was AMAZING beyond what I can express. She was not only very knowledgeable, but compassionate and understanding. She guided me, reassured me that they were not only able to handle a fearful aggressive dog, but that it was not a problem at all. She didn’t rush me even when I called several times, was very kind and I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing quality care. THANK YOU KRYSTAL❤️🐶

We brought our cat to San Diego Veterinary Urgent Care after discovering a foxtail stuck up her nose. The staff was kind, compassionate, and able to see us quickly. They explained everything clearly and took great care of our kitty.
The prices were very reasonable compared to other emergency clinics, and we appreciated the excellent care we received. We highly recommend San Diego Veterinary Urgent Care to anyone needing urgent care for their pet!
It speaks volumes when my cat with trauma feels safe in a veterinary care space, one of her biggest triggers. I brought my cat in after she had dental surgery at a different vet a few days ago, as she was developing some concerning symptoms. My cat trusted the vet and the team to fully comply with an assessment of her mouth, for which the team sang her praises as this is not always the case with cats. The vet easily identified that a tooth fragment had been left in my poor baby's mouth, and was able to safely remove it without causing any additional pain or need for sedation. They completed this exam, administered pain/antibiotics/fluid injections, and sent her home with antibiotics and pain medications-all in less than a few hours, with exceptional communication, and under $500!! I am SO grateful I found them, and that I have them as a resource if my babies ever need urgent care in the future. 💛 Thank you for making a stressful situation feel a lot more manageable!
They really care about my dog, saw me right away when I thought my dog was having an allergic reaction. They were ready for me when I arrived and even had staff outside waiting to intake my dog immediately, fast, caring people and reasonable prices. I will recommend everyone to come to this urgent care!
