I was so stressed out over my little gremling, he is difficult and we have had bad experiences, I called vca urgent care about 4 times and every single time Krystal was AMAZING beyond what I can express. She was not only very knowledgeable, but compassionate and understanding. She guided me, reassured me that they were not only able to handle a fearful aggressive dog, but that it was not a problem at all. She didn’t rush me even when I called several times, was very kind and I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing quality care. THANK YOU KRYSTAL❤️🐶

After receiving an offer from our vet for the neuter procedure with a total of costs of over $700, I checked out various places, mostly online. I liked the website with all the information including cost estimates from Affordable Spay & Neuter Clinic. I also read some of the reviews on Yelp and some of the negative feedback was almost scary. However, we decided to visit the clinic prior to making an appointment. My husband had a good first impression of the place and brought home all the documents to fill out and sign. From scheduling the appointment for the surgery, instructions, and check-In, all smooth and easy. Our dog seemed calm when we left him in the cage in the intake room at the clinic. We got the pick-up call just a few hours after the procedure and I liked how organized the clinic is with showing a video with all the post-procedure information. Elmo's recovery was very quick and back to his regular routine in no time. His wound has healed very nicely as well. out overall experience was just real good and choosing Affordable Spay & Neuter clinic versus our vet saved us over $400....

We brought our cat to San Diego Veterinary Urgent Care after discovering a foxtail stuck up her nose. The staff was kind, compassionate, and able to see us quickly. They explained everything clearly and took great care of our kitty. The prices were very reasonable compared to other emergency clinics, and we appreciated the excellent care we received. We highly recommend San Diego Veterinary Urgent Care to anyone needing urgent care for their pet!

Had the absolute best experience with our two female pups (stormi & skai) it was quick , friendly service and very informative. Went above and beyond explaining everything to how the process will go and the care afterwards. The team was great !

Took my pug here for her spay and overall had a good experience. The staff was friendly and everything felt organized, even though it was definitely busy. They have a system in place -- I'd recommend filling out paperwork ahead of time, allowing extra time for parking, and expecting a bit of a wait. I'm giving 4/5 stars mainly because I wouldn't really consider the pricing "affordable." By the end, the total was just under $800 with add-ons and additional charges, especially for brachycephalic dogs. To be fair, the pricing details were provided upfront in the paperwork, so nothing was hidden -- the clinic name just set different expectations for cost.
