Rutherford Veterinary Hospital

I made the switch from the previous vet to hopefully support a local private own clinic. I had high hopes based off of the initial phone call, however upon checking in, we were met with a cold reception, techs and doctor. Not sure if it was anything that we did considering how we were seated in a room so there was not much interaction that we could’ve done. We will not be coming back unfortunately.

I am on my third dog, All of them have gone here. I started with Dr. Vaughn and the new doctors are excellent as well. Convenient location.

Dr. Woolley has always been amazing with my Piper during her regular check-ups and vaccinations. Dr. Woolley does not do dentals so Dr. Rowan was able to react quickly during surgery to a previously unknown gene mutation making my girl extra sensitive to sedation. Piper came out of surgery doing great and I know that's because she was in excellent and experienced hands!

First off!, we LOVE Dr. Woolley!! she's so amazing. very informative, sweet and gentle with animals, and always understanding and apologetic when something isn't explained or addressed well,.. even when it's NOT her fault. That being said, f*** this clinic. we've been charged for things we were VERY clear about not wanting (if my pet actually received vaccines unasked, I'll never know), not being told what happened or informed about what exactly was administered / outcomes to expect, and blatant disregard for getting prescriptions submitted for meds that should be top priority. On top of all this, they were not treating staff properly and had a huge shift in techs and now, with literal exception of two, they are incompetent and just don't care. Save yourself the headache and just find a different vet.

Our first visit here was wonderful. The vet and tech really care about pets. They were so very gentle with my cat Pearl. I'm def coming back.
