I brought in a sick feral cat. 4 other vets in the area were not willing to treat a sick feral cat. Raleigh Community Animal Hospital asked “When can you get here? They were incredibly kind and so willing to help. They took such good care of the little guy. They also arranged to get a voucher to neuter him while there. Which saved me from having to retap him at a future time. Not to mention HE won’t be adding to the pet population. They were a huge blessing for us! Thank you Raleigh Community Animal Hospital!!! Did i mention very affordable! The bill was a fraction of what other animal hospitals charge. Thank you for helping save this little guy!!!
There is no way I would recommend the Veterinarian service. The main Veterinarian is rude and denies most of the things that she tells you.... They mentioned the notes that I had refused to pay for any service they had done and that is incorrect. When the doctor tells you something, on the next visit, she says she didn't say it... I paid almost $800 for x-ray and enema, which they almost refused to do. Even though I expressed that the cat had not excreted in the number two and almost 2 weeks.

DR TAYLOR SIMMONS DIDN'T SEE 11 MISSING TEETH!!!
What an unbelievably awful experience. We brought in our cat, Muffin, after a referral due to the fact that she was missing 11 teeth with advanced Gingivitis, a disease that if aggravated, requires teeth extractions ASAP. This was extremely severe. Dr(If you can call her that) Taylor Simmons came in to inspect Muffin, knowing that we came in for that exact reason.
Upon her inspection, SHE MISSED 11 MISSING TEETH. Mind you, these were CONSECUTIVE! She literally missed the fact that the entire front of our cat's mouth was missing...
To make matters worse, she didn't notice any of the plaque or tartar buildup in her mouth, declaring that it was mild, and would probably only need a teeth cleaning.
When I politely asked how it was mild if Muffin was missing 11 teeth, she asked "Who told you that?". We of course pointed to the vet who sent the referral. After finding out that she blatantly missed it due to incompetence, she tried to flip the script and blame us because Muffin didn't get checked for leukemia a year ago... What? What does one have to do with the other?
We made it clear that we were nervous about our cat's safety, and of course asked questions. Taylor Simmons was unbelievably rude and unprofessional while answering, asking things like "How would you like it if I removed all of YOUR teeth?", and "Well we can't just run around taking every cat's teeth out around the world in the off chance they get gingivitis". "Would you like it if you had your arm cut off in the off chance you got in infected in your life?"
Again, our cat is missing 11 teeth. Please look it up. Her case is unbelievably severe. The vet who sent the referral said that best case scenario we'd keep her canines. Here is Taylor Simmons saying that it would be a cleaning. Im sure you can imagine our confusion and desire to ask clarifying questions. When I asked her to answer these questions in a manner that was specific to Muffin instead of these rude and outlandish examples, she told me that I was being excessive with my questions and needed to just listen. Mind you, this is the same vet who MISSED 11 MISSING TEETH. Also, the call literally lasted 10 minutes!!! The first 3 of which she was just talking.
0/10. If I could bring the rating down more, I totally would. So rude, unprofessional, and to top it all off incompetent. What a sorry excuse for a veterinarian.
I have a rather anxious dog and yesterday was our first visit here for a scary lump on his chest. Dr Harris and the tech during our appointment were both so incredibly kind and patient. We have a few more visits upcoming, and I have comfort knowing they’re invested in his wellbeing. They were very transparent about pricing and empathic about working within my budget.
