A huge shoutout to Dr. Liff — hands down one of the most responsive, dedicated vets we’ve ever worked with. She always follows up and personally calls back whenever we have questions, which means so much when you’re worried about your four legged child. She’s gone above and beyond for us more than once, especially with international travel. One unforgettable time, the USDA office was closed due to a snowstorm right before our trip — and Dr. Liff didn’t miss a beat. She got the emergency USDA vet at JFK involved and arranged a messenger to deliver our pet’s health certificate the very day of travel. Because of her, we made our flight without a hitch. We feel so lucky to have her as our vet. Thank you, Dr. Liff, for everything you do!

I would not ever return to this vet. The staff was very nice, however, the veterinarian herself I wouldn't trust to walk my dog let alone provide medical services. She spent no time to get to know my dog and make her feel comfortable. She was immediately very aggressive in the way she touched and examined my dog making her extremely scared. In 8 years I have never seen my dog so scared... she pooped herself right there in the examination room from fear. They also wanted to charge upwards of $1000 for what she diagnosed as a broken pinky toe to be fixed with a splint and an ace bandage.

I had a wonderful experience calling in the morning after my other vet canceled. I was happy to secure a same-day appointment with ease through their AI receptionist. My commute from Brooklyn to the vet clinic was quicker than I expected as well! Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by their clean, warm, colorful, and inviting office. The receptionist greeted me with a friendly smile, which made me feel more at ease. I was promptly seen by Dr. Kurtzman, who, along with her attentive team, showed incredible compassion as I shared my concerns about my 3-month-old rescue puppy, Inari, who had been experiencing occasional vomiting since I adopted her two weeks ago. Thanks to their expertise, they quickly diagnosed her problem, and I was so relieved she was gonna be okay. I’m particularly grateful for the follow-up care they provided, ensuring that Inari was on the path to wellness. They updated me on her fecal results and reassured me that I could reach out if anything came up. Plus, they offer a discount for first-time visitors, which is such a nice touch! I can't recommend this clinic highly enough and truly appreciate the warm care Inari and I received. I’m looking forward to bringing her back for her puppy boosters. I’ve been taking my dog to Pure Paws Hudson Square Since it opened a number of years ago. The staff there is caring and warm. They always treat my dog gently and with concern. They are attentive to my questions and concerns. They also are great at making time for my dog to come in on short notice when there is an emergency. I’m very grateful to have Pure Paws Nearby to take care of my sweet dog.

I always have a great experience at any of the Pure Paws locations and this one was no exception. They do such an incredible job with my dog for anything she needs, especially dental care. I’d follow Dr. Liff anywhere but everyone there, from the front desk staff to all the techs, make us feel so comfortable and always receive great care.
