Prytania Veterinary Hospital

Prytania Vet is truly one of the best vets I’ve ever been to. They have a fantastic team of vets (we have seen all of them!) and always treat every concern as if it was their own pet. They are patient, transparent, understanding, and truly just want your pets to be healthy and happy! They never mitigate my concerns even when I’m fully freaking out over my senior cavalier, and they always take the extra time to reassure me or explain things in the utmost detail. So grateful I found this vet ten years ago!

We love Dr. Jen Foster and the whole Krewe at Prytania Vet. She takes fabulous care of my two aging dogs and cat and has helped us with myriad problems. For the first time, my dogs enjoy going to the vet and happily cruise back to board as well. Always available for med orders or questions, Dr. Foster and team are great, responsive communicators and have done wonders to keep my pets healthy and supported as they age. Dr. Foster cares deeply for the animals she treats and it shows and we all are lucky to have such a wonderful vet!

Best vet I have ever experienced. My dog is old so gave me realistic expectations with his current ailments and delivered with such care and understanding , and worked with me to improve the situation with so many good options. The arthritis shot it already working! The vet and the entire staff were amazing. You can see how much they really do care. The bar for vets is now set very high. I can not sing enough praises. Mr. Cheeze as a senior dog has a laundry list of ailments but we were received with such thought, and love. Even with dealing with heavy stuff it was treated so well. Jen Foster was the vet I had that day. She and the entire staff over there just care so much.

Where do I begin!!! While on a visit to New Orleans we entrusted our sweet frenchie girl with family who fed her grapes NOT knowing they are toxic, to say I have no words to express my fear for the outcome and the worry of choosing to right Vet away from home. My husband searched googled and due to location and the emergency service needed I contacted Prytania Veterinary Hospital, they said bring her in, the nice gentleman gathered the information over the phone and was waiting for my sweet girl upon arrival. As it was our first time I have to share the facility was clean and everyone at the front desk was so caring. Our ultimate appreciation and gratitude goes to Dr. Jenn Foster for her absolute care and compassion for us and the situation. She shared the goal and expectations, kept use updated throughout and had a plan for follow up after discharge. We are in the process of relocating to New Orleans and have now found our new Veterinary Facility. Thanks to Dr. Foster and her quick action our sweet girl is home safe and back to herself!!

Dr Jennifer Foster is always great with my dogs. I’ve been seeing her for about 9 years. She is very knowledgeable about what my dogs need and is able to diagnose issues very quickly and accurately. She’s always available, even if it’s an after-hours text, and I feel like she really cares about my dogs and what she does. She also is always up on the latest treatments/advances in vet medicine and makes it easy to get the medications I need for my dogs. She’s friendly, pleasant, and always gives a good vibe. Highly recommended.
