PetSmart Veterinary Services - San Diego (Sports Arena)

I brought my dog in for a check up today. I've never met a vet so stoic. Not friendly, I felt rushed, she never smiled. I got the impression that she does not like dogs. The cost was $40 and she spent 30 minutes with my dog. She said she had another appointment at 9:30 (I came in at 9am). Wouldn't recommend. She left without answering all my questions.

Dr. Benedek was very nice and professional. Her team is also very caring and helpful. They also very reasonable in pricing. Our new puppy Naomi was very happy with the visit. Would definitely recommend and is my current go-to veterinary clinic.

10 stars if I could! I had such a pleasant experience with Dr. Benedek. She is a true animal lover who clearly does this work out of genuine passion. When she first met my dog, Fudge, she actually got down on the floor to examine him, checking his paws, ears, and eyes where he felt most comfortable. She explains every diagnosis in detail and provides a clear wellness plan (and via email). I especially appreciate that she never "oversells"; she always gives 2–3 different treatment options. Her staff, Leiti and Ivana, are equally impressive—knowledgeable, experienced, and well-trained. Wonderful staff and doctors! So kind and thorough! My dog loves to come here. They can always get us in and are so loving to my dog.

Dr. Benedek and the team were amazing. I was really worried about my cat after he got in a fight with another cat and he started acting differently. When I brought him in, they quickly diagnosed the problems, treated his infection, gave him medicine, and told me what I needed to do at home to help him heal. Plus they kept my cat calm the whole time. Thank you!
