We love this place. There are several vet techs, front desk people, and doctors. They always answer the phone and respond to email quickly, and every single person there has always been kind and seems to really care about our dog. We have a primary vet we usually see, but have seen four different ones here on occasion and they are all great. They listen to all of my tiny worries and weird questions, and give trustworthy advice.
We were bringing our pug to this vet for about a year and we unfortunately never left feeling satisfied with the service provided. We would mostly bring him here for a monthly nail trim and after every visit, they would return us to him with a different excuse every time about how he was too wriggly, or that he was “biting” and that he needed trazodone to make him more relaxed before each appointment. We would be sure to give him the meds and even then, they would still try to convince us he was too difficult and tell us to up the dosage. He is a small pug and I do not think he needs 2 whole pills for a 5 minute nail trim that leaves him feeling lethargic the rest of the day. Before moving to Portland, a mobile nail trimmer would come to our home and trim his nails with absolutely no issue besides the occasional squirm. When arriving to this vet, our pug would seem anxious and hesitant to go into the back with the techs. One time, he came back with his feet bleeding and we were advised to have him be put in a cone so he didn’t try to lick the wound. They made us pay for the cone even though they were the ones who cut his foot. He never once tried to lick the wound, so that was a waste of money. On our last and most recent visit, he seemed incredibly hesitant to go into the back and came back coughing and hacking up treats that they gave him, with slobber and residue all over his face. Shockingly, no one in the clinic offered to clean him up for us or offered any sort of assistance, so we have to take him home and clean him up ourselves. The worst part? We are usually charged $26 for a nail trim, but this time the price magically increased to $29 with no explanation from anyone at the desk. He has now arrived home seeming uncomfortable and acting abnormal. Thankfully, we are moving and we will not be taking our pug back here. They also always “check you out” before the service has even been completed, so if your pet comes back bleeding or throwing up, well they’ve already got your money secured! Only real good things about the clinic are the staff are relatively friendly upon arrival and the clinic is clean.
Excellent praise for Dr. Kimberly Maun and team. So patient with my cat and made it such a smooth stress free appointment. I saw another doctor there - can’t recall her name but equal praise for her patience and calm. Thank you!
Veterinary in the US has gone too far. They have one thing in common is to take advantage of dogs and cats lovers.
This is another case that I recently experienced in 2026. New clients need to have established visit. Got it. But when you neighborhood pets are sick and you turn them down while suggested first appointment available for new client in about 4 weeks, ok sure let's do that. Understand pure biz, no empathy.
But wait there's more, a follow up text message and email that you must pay $$$ for that meet and greet visit by the end of today- 4 weeks before it happens. Wtf?
You lost me there and the rest of my people and dogs. Sorry we I'll never get to spend a lot of money until we learn which one of you are good. Greedy excuses aren't deserve to take care for my love ones to begin with.
If you are one of the vets here. Rise up for yourself. Be a good vet for your neighborhood.

Dr. Donnelly and her team have been such a blessing during a very stressful time with my pets.
Everyone from the front desk to the techs, has shown so much kindness, patience, and genuine care. It’s rare to find a place where you feel both supported and truly heard.
Dr. Donnelly is thoughtful, thorough, and incredibly compassionate. She takes the time to listen and really consider everything, which has meant so much to me. I’ve felt comfortable asking questions and being involved, and that has made a huge difference.
Most importantly, they have truly helped relieve my pets’ suffering and bring them comfort, which means more to me than I can express.
This team goes above and beyond in ways that don’t go unnoticed. I’m so grateful for the care they’ve given my pets and the support they’ve shown me.
Thank you all for what you do you truly make a difference.
