I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic. I loved it there when my dog was a baby when her original vet was there. However, she retired, and it completely changed after that. I have been bringing my dog Ivy here for the past 3 years since she was born, and I have always trusted this clinic with her care. However, after my most recent annual visit, I was shocked to receive a bill of nearly $600. I understand that prices can change, and I was told this was “the going rate in the area,” AFTER the service was done but after calling three other veterinary clinics and comparing the exact same services, vaccines, and annual visit needs, I found that the cost was around $200-$250 maximum for the same exact services. That means I essentially paid the price of bringing multiple pets in for the same routine care. I even communicated my financial situation to the clinic before the shots were done. That was the moment where I should have been clearly informed of the expected cost before moving forward with additional services. It is the responsibility of a veterinary office to communicate significant price increases upfront so customers can make informed decisions about their pets’ care as I have NEVER paid this high of price since my time there. I feel ripped off and I feel honestly taken advantage of as someone who was a loyal customer. A nearly 140% increase from what I had previously paid is not a small adjustment. I left feeling unheard, unsupported, and disappointed by a clinic I had trusted for years. Unfortunately, I will no longer be bringing Ivy to Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic. I encourage other pet owners to ask for a detailed estimate beforehand and compare prices elsewhere. Save yourself the surprise bill. Don't go here.
