Nashville Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency

I came here in a emergency situation with my kitten and as soon as I walked in I was charged 200$ they didn't tell me what it was for at first either, so they took my kitten came back to the room and told me it was gonna be 10,000$ or more and I was confused cause thats more then my medical bills and I said that for the vet to say " well we have renowned vets here from somewhere" (she said but I don't remember), and to me all that felt like is her telling me my kitten is not good enough for her vets because I can't pay 10,000$ all right then, your supposed to have passion behind careers like this and here they definitely DO NOT!! and when I said I couldn't pay and asked where my kitten was they just had her in a room while she was bleeding everywhere they did nothing to help her in anyway they separated her from everyone and put her alone while she was scared which caused her to be more distress, then they wanted me to sign a AMA when they clearly stated they was not going to do anything for her. THIS IS THE WORST AND MOST HEARTLESS VET I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!! the people here are terrible and will only waste your time especially in and emergency situation and cause more distress to your animals and they'll show you these "options" to see if you can get approved for animal insurance which they know it will not work. this place is so terrible and is only focused on money which is very nasty and unprofessional with how they was about it. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A TERRIBE EXPERIENCE!!! I WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE!! even with having insurance for my animals now to get everything covered I would not come here that is for sure.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. I came in with my Sadie girl, in the middle of a panic attack, and they took great care of both of us. The staff was wonderful about explaining everything they were doing for her, and what next steps would be. I knew she was in the best of hands. Everyone I interacted with was so kind (special shout out to Ginger for her compassion). I got to leave with my kitty doing just fine. If you need emergency care for your pet, this is the place to go.

Death trap! You're there for over 3 hours , they separate you from your pet and bring you 2 pay options! Both ridiculous amounts. The vet looked high on something, I was given no evidence of what was wrong with my animal! When all I could pay was450$ and not the 1700$ I was shown the door! Absolute crap place!

I had a wonderful experience here with my dog TobyMac. Dr. John Sessions worked with us and explained all of his testing and all of the results very thoroughly. I could sense that he had a very caring spirit and loved what he did.The veterinary assistants were very kind and took their time with us and answered our questions. I am so happy with my experience here and will come back if I ever need further assistance with any of my pets.

They have great customer service. They were very patient with my dog and I. They do offer care credit to help with payment plans and the establishment is very clean.
