I’ve been bringing my four animals (two dogs and two cats) to Milwaukee Vet Clinic for almost 7 years now, and at this point, they’re like family to us.
All four of my animals have completely different personalities and medical needs, and over the years we’ve been through just about everything, from last minute surgeries and mystery health scares to one of my cats basically turning feral every time he walks through their doors. Through it all, the staff at Milwaukee Vet has been nothing but kind, patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Most importantly, they are truly committed to being fear-free and always prioritizing the animals’ well-being above everything else.
I also LOVE how invested they are in Milwaukee’s rescue community! It says so much about who they are, both inside and outside the clinic.
I can genuinely say, I barely trust anyone with my animals, but I trust Milwaukee Vet Clinic wholeheartedly. I can’t say enough good things about them. If you’re looking for a vet to care for your fur babies, I can promise you they’ll be in the best hands at Milwaukee Vet Clinic!
Very argumentative I don't know if its because I'm black or whatever, I called to recieve medication for my dog allergies, they said its been over a year the last time they seen my dog therefore i would need to set another appointment for my dog. Understood, however, I'm frustrated because if my dog has allergeries my dog has allergies I don't understand why I would need to set an appointment every year for condition she will have for the rest of her life, none the less with them relaying this information the Vet was very rude about the information and acted as if it was illegal to me give me medical advice about my dog allergies without setting an appointment. Us as humans go to the doctor all the time if we call our doctors needing updates about our health, they relay the information to us upon request. This is allergy seaso, my dog allergies are coming back around, we have to pay for the prescriptions why would I need an appointmentfor that. At the end of the day I was upset on the way they spoke to me about the matter, I wish it wasn't so expensive to switch Vet clinics because I would be done with them!!!
I’ve been going to Downtown Vet Clinic for a while, but their service never felt quite right. Their prices always felt abnormally high too. That’s what got me to try this vet, and WOW am I impressed!
The vet is incredible, the people working are friendly, the pricing seems way better (based on one visit, but still), and they even gave me a follow up call a few days to check in. That’s so rare for vets to reach out to you.
5/5 experience and I will be returning. Highly recommend!
Honestly, the vets were nice ish, but the staff is horrible especially their "behavior specialist." She has zero real credentials and thinks shes the holy grail. Extroidinarily passive aggressisve and rude if you don't agree with her. This is not her dog, this is our dog. Not to mention the front desk staff is beyond dismissive and just refer you to urgent care. would not trust this vet clinic ever

Yelp
Terrible experiences here right from the start. Poor attitude from the Vet. she just doesn't seem to be able to handle stressed out pets. When the drugs don't work they just give up. I literally held my dog while the tech fumbled for the vein while the Vet looked on. Doubled the price of nail trim because they couldn't deal w a12lb dog.
