Mauer Animal Clinic

I used to love Mauer. I took all my dogs to them over the last 8 years. Dr. Robinson and Dr. Randall are the BEST doctors !! That's why i went to Mauer. Mauer USED too take my pets if there was an emergency. They dont anymore. I have no choice but to go somewhere else. I sent a lot of people to them. I wish they were my "go to" and it saddens me I am forced to go to another vet for my dogs. This is why they get 1 star. They know my dogs but cant see them when its an emergency completely baffles me. So in an emergency situation my dogs have strangers taking care of them not their vets. So disappointing. They no longer care. Whoever changed that policy made a huge mistake. I have to find a vet office that will care for my dogs and see them right away same day if its an emergency. These great doctors have no idea their patients cant be seen by them when its an emergency. Im sure they lost a lot of customers. Me included. From the past reviews it seems they notice this change as well. We will miss them. Just to add their prices used to be low. Used to pay $140 to get a pet neutered. Now they are charging $450. Something changed and Mauer is not what it used to be. Very sad. Money is more important than a dogs well being.

Staff and doctors friendly and most helpful. Great location for me. Prices are reasonable. Always able to accommodate my needs. Dr Robinson is great with my kitty. Very caring! Adopted a new cat and didn't see her for the first two months. When she finally came out I found her to be a long hair that was horribly matted from the bad situation she came from. Called Mauer and they were able to get her right in for a medical shave. Did a beautiful job with a difficult cat. She wasn't used to being touched and handled. She wasn't feral. Had just been ignored her entire life. Came home beautiful and ready to start her new life. Most grateful for all their help. You won't be disappointed taking your dog or cat to them!

Went with my Sis n Law for her fur babies shots. Very clean! Nice staff. ❤️ ✝️
