I had a very disappointing experience with Lake Wheeler Veterinary Hospital with Dr Grant . I needed to reschedule my puppy’s appointment due to an unexpected family emergency and asked whether doing so would negatively impact my puppy’s health. Instead of addressing my concern, it was assumed that my reason for rescheduling was financial, which was not the case. After that, I was informed that they would no longer continue services with me, which was surprising and not clearly communicated at the time. I made multiple calls and was told I would receive a callback, but no one ever followed up. Instead, I later received information through the mail, rather than being informed directly when I reached out. As a pet owner, I expect clear communication, professionalism, and understanding—especially when it comes to my pet’s health. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect those values.

I needed to reschedule my puppy’s appointment due to a family emergency and asked if it would affect my puppy’s health. Instead of answering my question, it was assumed the reason was financial. I was later declined further services without clear communication. Despite multiple calls and being told I would receive a callback, no one followed up. Instead, I was notified through the mail. Overall, the communication and professionalism were lacking. I would not recommend based on my experience!!

Very unprofessional, rude, and clearly do not care about the well-being of the animals. Would not recommend. Terrible experience. I called to schedule an appointment for my sick cat, but my appointment kept getting canceled solely for the reason that I chose a different clinic for his neuter so now she refuses to see or treat my cat. They knew my cat was unwell and still refused to reschedule.

our dog gets excited when we pull in the parking lot. He acts like he going to see one of his best friends. Dr. Grant has taught us alot about our dog he is a great pyrenees mix.
