Indianapolis Animal Urgent Care

From the person who answered the phone, the vet tech, and the doctor himself; everyone was so kind and calm. Having to visit urgent care for your pet can be a jarring experience but everyone was so gentle, caring and reassuring. They were thorough, up front with price, and explained what was happening and gave great follow-up instructions. It’s such a blessing to have this downtown. If you ever find yourself in need of an urgent care for your pet, this place will make you feel welcomed and cared for. Pro tip: if your dog eats a corncob take it to urgent care asap!

Today I took my boxer, Tucker, into the newest urgent care on East Street, Indianapolis, do to a leg/foot injury. Immediately I was greeted with a friendly smile by a vet tech by the name of Madison who took my information and explained in detail the process of the visit. Soon after was seen by Dr. Kulish who did an exam. She was clear about the procedure, treatment and price before moving forward which was greatly appreciated. Tucker is already putting pressure on his foot and already looking very happy. Thank you to Madison and Dr. Kulish for your help and professionalism.

We had several visits here, and every experience reminded us how caring and dedicated this team is. They were always helpful, accommodating, and truly gentle with our sweet Meeko. Dr. Potts is the best, she is thoughtful, thorough, and incredibly compassionate. Dr. Ryan was also wonderful during our very first visit, and her kindness and professionalism are a big part of why we returned when we needed help again. Christina and Kali were always so loving with our baby, especially on the days he had to be hospitalized. They were patient and kind every time we called to check on him, giving us updates and reassurance when we needed it most. When we ultimately had to say goodbye to Meeko, they walked us through every option with so much empathy, never rushing us, and answering our questions, even when we had to ask the same ones again while trying to process the heartbreaking news. Their compassion meant more than we can express, and we’re deeply grateful for the way they supported us and cared for Meeko through every step. Thank you!

There truly aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for the incredible team at IAUC. From the minute you walk in the door, you are treated with kindness, respect, and professionalism. I have been to MANY clinics and spent countless hours at them, and IAUC is by far the best. This clinic is the perfect place to bring those urgent care needs for our dogs without having to visit an er. Our primary vet can’t always get us in at a moments notice for things that sometimes just can’t wait, and that is when we use IAUC. Our dogs (and foster dogs) receive the best care possible at a price we can afford. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful clinic with staff who truly care and clearly love their jobs. We had one of the worst days of our life here on Sunday, March 8th. We had to very suddenly make the gut wrenching decision to say goodbye to our sweet boy Spookley. Despite the profound pain of losing him, I have only positive things to say about the staff here. As soon as we arrived, Nick took us back and immediately treated Spookley like he was his own. Dr. Kulish answered every single one of our concerns with grace and compassion. She reassured us multiple times that we were making the right choice by euthanizing, and that there was nothing else we could have done. It was just a horrible, rapid deterioration of our baby’s health. When the time came, Courtney brought us our boy. We were able to have a few moments with our boy and we got to hold him and kiss him during the entire euthanasia process. Nick treated the experience with so much love and care. He explained everything thoroughly and assured us Spookley wouldn’t feel any pain. We were sent home with his fluff, paw prints, and nose prints. It was a traumatizing day, but they made it as easy as they possibly could have. I am so thankful for Nick, Dr. Kulish, and Courtney for the compassion they extended to us during a terribly painful time. Rest in peace, sweet Spookley boy.
