Read on GoogleWe are so incredibly grateful to Heart's Ease, Dr. Courtney Bennett, and Cori for the compassion and comfort they brought to us during our 17-year-old cat Sue’s final moments. Knowing Sue was able to pass peacefully at home, in such gentle hands, meant more to us than I can express. Letting her go was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but Dr. Bennett made such a heartbreaking experience feel peaceful, dignified, and full of love. Her ability to ease such a painful situation is truly an amazing gift. Even under difficult circumstances, it was a pleasure talking with her (and a welcome distraction from the moment) and it honestly felt like talking with an old friend while sharing stories about Pittsburgh, Louisville’s food scene, and of course, cats. I also want to thank Cori, who handled scheduling and communication with so much compassion and kindness from the very beginning. Every interaction with Heart’s Ease made us feel supported. What this team does for people and their beloved pets is such a genuinely meaningful gift. We will always be grateful for the comfort and peace they gave our sweet Sue in her final moments.
