Epic Specialty & Emergency Pet Care - Tampa Pet ER

Our pup had a large spleen tumor and we were referred to Epic by our local oncologist. Dr Peress and staff scheduled an emergency surgery, as the spleen could rupture at any time. Surgery was successful; however, the biopsy showed the tumor as hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive cancer. Yes, the surgery was expensive but the care she received over the 2-3 days was exceptional and worth every cent. We are now 12 weeks post op, and we thank Epic for giving us these additional weeks with our girl Abby. She recently had her 11th birthday, and is doing great.

After many different vet visits and much money spent, the employees at Epic were able to pinpoint my cat's illness and were helpful and caring enough to help me and my cat through a very difficult situation. I would recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone that has a pet. Even though my news was not positive, they made me feel ten times better knowing that they were in my corner. I pray that they continue the excellent work and God keeps blessing them and everyone who visits there! Thank you so very much!

This is my second experience with Epic, and once again, it was outstanding. Dr. Curry is truly the best surgeon. He makes you feel completely comfortable, takes the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, and genuinely gets to know both you and your dog. You don’t feel like just another client, you feel like family, and he treats you that way. My little boy Buck had TPLO surgery on his left leg last summer, and this time it was his right. Because of the incredible care we received the first time, there was no question we would come back to Dr. Curry. I’ve already recommended a friend who has since used him, and I would confidently recommend him to anyone. And it’s not just Dr. Curry, the entire team is exceptional. Jack is amazing, and everyone who answers the phones is kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They all take their time and make you feel at ease every step of the way. I truly can’t say enough great things about Epic. Thank you, Dr. Curry and the entire team. We’ll see you in eight weeks for Buck’s check-up.

When my dog became critically ill, we were referred to Epic by the incredible team at VEG, until that moment, I didn’t even know Epic existed. Like many, I had only heard of the more widely known animal hospital (which I personally choose not to use). From the moment we arrived, the level of care was exceptional. Tiffany immediately came out to greet us, opened the door, and somehow already knew exactly which patient I had. Her kindness and compassion made an overwhelming situation feel just a little more manageable. Without going into all the details, Dr. Meeks quite literally saved my dog’s life. The entire staff was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely caring every step of the way. If I ever face another emergency, there’s no question I’ll be going straight to Epic. I am forever grateful to every single person there. Thank you for giving me more time with my baby.

I was Very Disheartened by my visit with Epic Vet! I felt like they cared more about the money than the care of my dog! Very dismissive when I pointed certain things out regarding my dog's issues. I do not recommend them!
