Eastern Animal Hospital

I should have known better than to give this hospital another try. Unfortunately, I found the staff to be "fake friendly" and felt that important information was not communicated upfront. I encourage pet parents to explore other veterinary practices where they feel genuinely cared for and where both the pet and the pet parent are treated with compassion and transparency. Paying more does not necessarily mean receiving better service or care. And one more thing: I'm not taking my "friend" to the vet. I'm taking my pet--my fur baby. My baby is not simply my friend; he is family.

I've had a really positive experience with Eastern Animal Hospital so far. They've been kind and gentle with Max, responsive when I need an appointment, and the facility is always clean. When he needed treatment for an ear infection around the same time he was due for vaccines, they helped me think through a plan to spread out the costs while still making sure he got everything he needed. I've also had a great experience with their pharmacy. The pharmacist was incredibly helpful and informative when we switched one of Max's prescriptions. My only minor inconvenience was that they no longer carry Simparica Trio in-house, but we were able to find an alternative that worked for us. Overall, everyone from the front desk to the veterinary team has been friendly, helpful, and sweet with Max. I'm glad we made the switch!

Do you make house calls for euthanasia ? I'm old (76) and my cat is overweight and old. I don't think I can get her in a cat carrier. I just need someone to come to my house in Essex and put my cat down. sassyqa@gmail.com thank you

Have provided great care for several of my pets over the years! Most recently, they were kind and gracious about an error in paperwork/finances. They explained what happened and honored the original estimate. Highly recommend and thankful for how they handle their business.

We moved here from AZ and are very pleased we our fur babies new vet! Ashley, Lex, and Dr. Sole really went above and beyond to provide us with an excellent, knowledgeable experience. We are excited for our babies to grow with this vet and highly recommend!
