Dilworth Animal Hospital

All of the staff here is incredible. My cat Mue had been sick for many months and been seen by her old vet twice, where her condition was brushed off as bladder inflammation despite losing 1/6 of her body weight between visits. Dr. Toth listened to us very intently and utilized her recent bloodwork from the old vet to come up with possible conditions it may be as well as treatment plans, saving us in unnecessary bloodwork and charges. It’s been a few weeks of her new treatment plan, and Mue has done a 180. Her personality is coming back as well as her weight. I’ve also brought my exotic animals here throughout the years and they have always treated them with kindness and care, as well as compassion when I had to put my sweet hedgie down. Truly the best veterinary practice in Charlotte. Very grateful for them.

We continue to be thrilled with the care provided at Dilworth Animal Hospital. After being a previous client we were happy to bring our new puppy for care and vaccinations at DAH. Dr Wheelock spent our first visit educating us on puppies, behavior tips and great overall advice. It was so nice to have him take the time to refresh us on what to do, look for and how to raise a great dog. It was like going to the pediatrician and we were very appreciative of it. The staff was amazing as always and make each visit easy and enjoyable. When we had to schedule a visit to address an issue with his heart last minute Dr. Ruch was thorough, reassuring and explained all scenarios and protocols. We are so happy with the practice and would highly recommend them!

Dr. Collier cared for our 15 year old pup for the last few years of his life all the way until his last day today. She is such a compassionate doctor that deeply cares for her patients. We’re so thankful for her and all the staff at Dilworth Animal Hospital.

Sadly I’m moving away, and I wish I could take Dilworth Animal Hospital with me. There’s so much to compliment this establishment on. First off, it’s in a beautifully renovated house and is clearly well taken care of. Secondly, the staff and services. Somehow, everyone there remembers my pet by name and happily greet her each time we step in. I truly feel like I’m greeted like I’m family. My pet has been loved on and taken care of each step of her journey, and we’re very thankful to have had the help of Dr. Toth. She has been a close aide since my cat was diagnosed with kidney disease, and I hate that we’re leaving her.. She’s the best! Everyone and their furry friends coming here will be in the very best of hands!

Thank you to Dr. Wheelock, Megan, Ashley, and the team for making our first visit such a pleasant and seamless experience. Dr. Wheelock was attentive, informative and took his time with us. We never once felt rushed which I really appreciate. It’s clear how passionate he and the team are! Left feeling relieved about some lingering uncertainties and much more confident moving forward, which means a great deal. We'll be back!
