Crescent Hill Animal Hospital

I am so angry and I am hoping that sharing this will help me calm down. I had to put my dog down today. It has been a very difficult thing to have to do but I knew the dog was in such misery that I gave in and took her to the Crescent Hill Animal Clinic (Dr. Gries) where I have been taking both my dogs for 5-6 years. I had already dug a grave for her at home and just needed a humane way to put her down. When I arrived they helped me get her out of the car and into a room. After consoling me and telling me what to expect, they announce to me the cost would be $400. I considered getting up and walking out but with Nala not even being able to walk, I just bit my tongue and agreed but just to warn others. The average cost as I found out later is $125

I was excited to find a local Fear Free Certified veterinary hospital, especially since they recently hired a veterinarian I had the pleasure of working with, Dr Keller, while I was working as a licensed veterinary technician. From start to finish, I had an excellent experience. Scheduling the appointment was quick and straightforward while still gathering all of the important information about my pet. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the hospital was clean and well-maintained, and our appointment was efficient, with very little waiting. I found their pricing to be about average for the area, and the quality of care and client experience made it well worth it. As someone who has worked in veterinary medicine, I appreciate the attention to detail and the low-stress approach they provide. I’m genuinely happy to have found a new veterinary hospital for my pets and would highly recommend Crescent Hill Animal Hospital to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality care.

I can’t believe how pet friendly each of the staff were to me and my dog. I got an appointment same day. Their prices are reasonable and affordable. I can’t thank them enough for my dogs care!

Highly recommend this place. Staff was incredibly helpful and made everything extremely easy for the appointment, called the past vet and got all the paperwork needed super fast. The care is unbelievable genuinely looking to help and not push extra costs on anything had recommendations to what would actually be best. Highly recommend this place best bet I’ve been to yet.

I'm from out of town and needed veterinary services. Crescent Hill Animal Hospital went above and beyond to get my dog taken care of. They were even able to get her in for a last minute grooming. Amber gave my dog the best grooming she's ever had. The whole team went out of their way for my dog.
