Cottonwood Veterinary Hospital

Recently switched my mini ween to Cottonwood and they’ve taken great care of her so far! Our bill was reasonable, it didn’t feel like they overcharged me, which I’ve definitely had happen at the vet before, and everyone was very kind! We had an appointment to get her teeth cleaned at a different pet dental place and Cottonwood ended up quoting me a slightly more affordable price, so we went ahead with them. I was a little worried all day, this was her first teeth cleaning, but they texted me as soon as she was awake (which I loved, not a second too long of being anxious) and did such a great job! We’ll be coming back for all our future vet appointments. Thanks guys!

Since Cottonwood asked us to remove the review saying there was no record of our visit, will add that my wife brought our dog to Cottonwood. Our last name isn't spelled out on Yelp, nor is anyone else's. What occured is detailed here. It was worse than what we disclosed: Cottonwood's veterinarian said our dog's heart was failing. He used a stethescope to make this assessment, not an x-ray. We made an appointment to bring the dog to a cardiologist the next week. The cardiologist found no issues with our dog's heart.

I can't say enough good things about Cottonwood Vet. All of the front desk staff, technicians, and veterinarians have excellent service quality, bedside manner, and give you clear and helpful information. I have brought my pets here since I left a different vet I can't recall around 5-6 years ago and I was looking for a cheaper vet. Cottonwood seems like it has totally fair prices and transparent cost quotes. Vet bills are never fun, but at some point I think quality care means some expenses, and I think that Cottonwood's prices reflect quality care, and are I think comparatively quite cheap. To speak to the care that the staff show, my childhood family pet was put down tragically young for behavior issues, and that means that I am always very worried when my dog gets nippy at the vet because she is stressed, and I also have hypochondriac tendencies that make me worry about every little thing being a sign of undiagnosed serious disease. All of the staff are incredibly considerate and flexible in helping me make sure my pet isn't too stressed when getting even the most routine work done, and are also great at reassuring my concerns with a depth of medical knowledge and offering testing to ensure we know that nothing is wrong. I just got a teeth descaling with a dental extraction for my dog, and beforehand I was very worried about how my dog would do without me, and I was paranoid about her having undiagnosed health issues that would lead to complications in anesthesia, because she's getting a little on the older side. The prior health testing ensured that wasn't a concern, and the staff were all very communicative in preparing for the procedure (getting an exam and an estimated cost, which I think was also relatively cheap for the work getting done) and aftercare instructions, and were incredibly reassuring and collaborative in making sure things went smoothly for my anxious girl on the day of the procedure. It really just feels like the place is full of people who care about animals deeply, and are skilled in their work. Their care for the animals translates to strong bedside manner with the humans as well, and makes me feel confident that my precious pets are being well taken care of.

I won't trust any other vet for my boy. They are by far superior with customer service the way they treat my dog and their pricing.

Fairly new to the area and had to find a vet. I've been here three times this year with my little dog and each time they were professional, friendly and did a great job. Even better, my picky dog even liked the staff! Would definitely recommend.
