Commonwealth Animal Hospital

The staff is so kind and friendly. We felt like we were in good hands. We liked that they took precautions not to infect any other pets when ours had some infection concerns they took such great precautions to not infect any other fur babies. We recently moved here from out of state, so we know that we found our new care team for our pup.

Our baby girl lived to be 15 years old, and I attribute part of her long, beautiful life to these amazing people. Commonwealth Animal Hospital has the best vets and most compassionate team. We started with Dr. Kebb, who diagnosed our black lab with cancer in 2022. We decided to forgo chemo or radiation. Dr. Kebb guided us on our journey and helped us find less aggressive treatment plan. We were nervous to hear that Dr. Kebb left the practice, but knew during our first visit with Dr. LaSpina that we were still in good hands. In the last few weeks of life, Dr. LaSpina took the time to text and call us almost daily to check in on our sweet girl. I’m saddened to say that she crossed rainbow road today, but I’m comforted to know that we had the love and support from the Commonwealth Crew.

Great experience, will be going back again, and would recommend them highly. Being newer to the area I'd not found a vet yet, had the need for a visit and surgery on a tight timeline due to upcoming travel and other arrangements falling through. they were able to accommodate my requests and provided outstanding care to my new girl. every step of the visit they were kind, calm, and gentle which was so important as my girl had been feral until recently. a great experience all around and I would highly recommend the practice.

Everyone here is so kind and helpful, they were very patient and had a gentle approach with my cat. Dr. Milian explained everything to me in a way I could understand, he explained all the options that I had available at today's appointment, and he gave me time to make a decision without rushing or forcing anything. Keri was also super kind, and she made drawing blood off my cat look like nothing! Im 200% bringing my baby back here for my future vet visits. Could not recommend it more!

for a vet i loved commonwealth and they always took great care of my dog and cat but after my recent experience i will no longer be coming back. i boarded my great dane puppy with them and had given over bags of food dated for everyday that he would be there. as a large breed dog he obviously eats a lot. when i picked him up i was given back 2 and a half bags left full of food which is equivalent to two and a half DAYS of food. i called when i got home and realized and asked how he ate because i know they can be stressed but they told me he devoured all of his food so there was no reason for me to have so much food left over. i communicated this concern and was just told that it was because on the weekends they only get fed twice a day instead of three times? that shouldn’t change the amount he is fed if anything he would just have two larger meals. i was told that once they talked to the staff from the weekend i would be contacted again but its been a week with no resolve. my dog is now noticeably skinnier and his back and hip bones are now fully visible and majority of his ribs.because of his large size any amount of under feeding shows fast. again, i’ve never had a problem with the vets but the fact that this issue has been so overlooked makes it impossible for me to return with my dog. i’ve also included photos my of the returned food and the before and after photos of my dog.
