City Cat Vets

The vets here are exceptional, especially Dr. Knighton, who guided me through a very difficult diagnosis for my cat. She called and emailed me multiple times to check in and see how my cat was doing. At the end, I called for a very last minute euthanasia appointment and they fit me in within hours. Dr. Humenick took care of us at that appointment and he was incredibly compassionate. I also can’t say enough good things about the front office staff and vet techs. Everyone here really cares for your cat like it is one of their own. They always pick up the phone, respond to an email, and send records when requested. Almost immediately after the visit you get an email detailing the whole appointment. They will also always provide you with an itemized receipt or estimate for future procedures. I don’t think I will be getting another cat for a while, but when I do - know that I will be back at this practice.

The best! Been going to them for about three years because legit everyone i asked for vet recs said City Cat Vets. And they were correct. I get taken on time for my cat’s standard checkups and the appointment lasts 15-20 mins — super efficient and effective. I’m told about any potential future concerns, and today, Dr. Perner told me the price of a procedure my cat could potentially need in the future so that I can start budgeting now (her exact words, which I loved). I’ve also seen Dr. Humenick here too and he’s excellent, as are the vet techs and the receptionist. Glad y’all are my vet practice!

I have had nothing but positive experiences here and my cat has been seen here for four years. The front desk staff are responsive. The veterinarians and techs are kind and smart. My cat with feline leukemia virus has received incredible and attentive care here! Vet Humenick took the time to educate me and put things in terms I could understand when I brought my cat in for a sick visit recently.

Our visit with Dr. Andeer and veterinary technician Everett was such a positive experience. Everything was done efficiently and in a calm, low-stress way that made a huge difference for our cat—I honestly think she’d be happy to go back. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like Feliway towels in the lobby and using Churu on the towel in the exam room to make vaccines and microchipping as stress-free as possible. The entire visit felt very positive-reinforcement focused, and pricing was very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back for annual visits with all of our cats!

They don’t prescribe needed medicine due to “stigma.” My cat might die due to this gross negligence. Edit: The alternatives cause constipation which means they can not be given when he is constipated, which is the exact situation for which he needed a med. Hence, the request for the only non-constipating alternative of which I am aware. Another non-constipating alternative obviously would have been fine. This was of course said and yet I received this unreasonable response containing lies that you see below.
